Weird pick for a grappler but seems solid from the video.
Was it just me or did it look like we only saw one move(aside from supers) in the reveal trailer? He’s got to have more than just the grab.
Chillax dude, this game is going to be the next capcom (and marvel too) money cow, you can bet there’s going to be shit loads of DLC for it.

He has a command grab, an 8-way grapple arm, a rushpunch and Spidey’s zipline move it looked like. Grapple arm looks like it has different followups too.
The dreads suck.
I HATE this version of Spencer yet they somehow managed to make him look cool in game. I just hope he doesn’t end up as Spidey+Super Skrull and brings new stuff to the table.

You know what, Capcom’s fucking genius. They knew full well that damn near everyone wanted old bionic commando, so they gave us the new one instead and they will end up charging us via DLC for the old costume.
If they gave us the old one from the start then nobody would buy the new one via DLC.
As someone mentioned, the old Rad would require a completely new character model and I’d be VERY surprised if they gave us that as an alternative color for free. No, they are gonna milk the shit outta DLC for this game since it’s going to be one of the best sellers of all time [/Kanye West]

Spencer is white with white guy dreads.
Even if it’s the new Rad Spencer, I’m glad to see that he’s in the game. The roster of Capcom characters is really looking super diverse, and I am really happy about that.
That said, I’m surprised people consider him a grappler. I mean…I suppose he is. He does have his Omega Red-like ranged grabs. Like Omega Red, those are bound to be blockable, though. He does seem to have a command grab, but it’s not really damaging in of itself. It does lead to combos, though…so I guess that’s the point. A grappler to me is somebody who’s command grab does a big amount of damage in one fell swoop. So far, MvC3 doesn’t seem to have a character like that. Tron, maybe. Regardless, it’s nice to see some Bionic Commando rep. I hope to see some Rad Spencer players once the game comes out, even if you hate the design.
Spencer looks pretty awesome, only thing that needs to be dropped is “IN YOUR FACE” every two seconds
hrrrrmmm you guys are right. I didn’t pay much attention to the character when the new BC came out a year(?) ago, so the new MvC trailor is the first I really looked at him. I still maintain that he’s mixed in a afro-portuguese-brazilian way
