And I don’t have any issues with considering Mutant nor Ahmed nor Frankie nor Adam nor anyone else for one of the spots. I did exactly that, and I felt that I was the better choice. Nica is already from NY, and as I said, the spot below Nica could be held by a handful of New Yorkers. If I picked any of them, I would’ve offended the others.
But i made compromises and met people halfway by having 2 wild card spots. They’ll earn it all the same and I won’t have to make that decision.
And the call for opening it to 8 or 16 spots…this isn’t the point of the event. It is not a “top players in America” exhibition. The more you have, the more redundant it becomes as it just echoes top 8 or 16 of singles.
To be fair, if you foresaw contention over naming yourself a “Titan” you should explain the reasons why you did it.
Because from where we stand, this whole “Titans” event just looks like you trying to make yourself seem like you’re in the same league as Yuuki, Nica KO and 5star… in terms of skill level and status. I know you said it’s due to “Character and Location diversity” but this just sounds like a convenient excuse.
You said you are deserving of your spot, so it’s only fair you state your reasons why. Yuuki - everyone knows his displays in Japan and overall skill. Nica may not have Japan experience like ryan or yuuki but there’s no doubts about his skill and record. 5star is on of the best in American 3s history with a proven record.

Let’s not pretend to be stupid - anyone who reads about the Titans event gets the impression it’s a list of the top players in America. Even the rules you wrote gives out that impression. And like Nica said, you set it to $100 to challenge for a spot and nobody was gonna put $100 up. If you honestly think you are deserving, then please edit and explicitly state in the tournament info and rules what exactly constitutes a Titan. And let us know why you picked yourself.
Let’s give you full benefit of the debate and say I’m not on the same skill level nor status as the other three. It’s completely subjective and you clearly have a bone to pick with me so there’s no sense in discussing it.
The fact of the matter is, the general population believes that the 4 people I picked would create an exciting exhibition. I also have the respect of the other 3 Titans. I really don’t think I need yours, I’ll live.

There’s no point in pondering who it is; It’s extremely petty and childish and really goes against the movement of promoting the small scene we have left. I didn’t want to completely ignore his points because that’s just more fodder for him to talk shit. Whoever it is, they’re petty as fuck.
Wow the scene in the US is virtually dead and we’re still doing all of this bickering. Sad. 3s is such a beautiful game, sucks that it attracts such immaturity.
