Big Bang Beat

does kunagi have any moves that makes her go berserk or turn into her beast form?

EDIT: also, i didn’t realize until now that nana’s avatar is from idol master. i always wanted to play that game.

Any Time planned for release?

They will be a great comber game.

Oh wow, what a reply! Thanks so much for taking the time to share.

Made my day.

Sounds really good. Can’t wait til that official release date…

But I’m guessing that the fact that the game was run from a PC pretty much shows that the game will probably be a PC game for at least the first year of its life…

Then again, who knows? If this game becomes popular enough, maybe arcade owners would be able to just buy the program, and rig up cabinet set-ups using PCs. It may sound a bit wieldly, but it probably STILL costs less than buying modern arcade cabinets for the Taito X2 or Lindbergh, I’m willing to bet. Plus, whenever the game gets upgraded with a patch, the Arcade scene would be able to keep up quickly enough…

How long did it take Melty Blood to get made into a Ps2 game afte its release?

…Quite a while, actually.

The original MB game out for the PC back around November/December 2002. Re-ACT (first upgrade) then came around in the form of an expansion disc back in 2003/4, and then, finally, MB:AC came on the scene in 04, mostly by the hands of Ecole, as opposed to French Bread (the original dev). Then, as I’m sure you’re all aware, the game came out on PS2 last year, during the summer of 06. So, all in all, it took MB 4 years, give or take.

Ideally, with this game getting so much arcade exposure right off the bat, I don’t think it should take them that long to get the game back in there, and then a console port could stand to follow. In fact, if they were to basically just keep up the idea of running the game off of a PC, so that it could support at least 2 cabinets, they could be rigging this baby up to be a part of the scene from the get-go. We’ll see how Alicesoft and NRF choose to run this show, but ever since we got word that this game was even going to have loke tests of any sort, I think the message was clear: this was not going to be a “run of the mill” doujin game that was going to be satiated by remaining a dark horse for the PC environment…

now all that’s left is the words to go along with them.

Biolink - I can definitely see this as the new Melty. Melty has become huge tho, so maybe not in Japan unless it sees arcades, but as far as PC fighters go, this, so far, is the best.

Sabin - See, i dont want her to be overpowered cause then everyones gonna use her. I want her to not win for free, but to be lots of fun to play with. At this point, she’s the easiest and strongest, and i dont want everyone whoring my girl. (Yea, she’s mine :D)

Chibi - No. Not as far as i know.

Orka - No, no Berserk mode for Kunagi.
And if you want to play Idol Master, i get back to Chicago in May, maybe we can hang out one day and i’ll show you the goodness (i have a J360 and the game). We can also play a multitude of other fighters that nobody else plays.

As for the release date i have no idea. Hopefully it’ll be in the next month cause i want it before i leave Japan. >_>

Originally, they said that this game was slated to be released April 30th. But that was before they made a few changes (such as the change of Loke test locations) a few weeks back.

If they really worked themselves hard with making the necessary changes for the final release, they could MAYBE still make that date. But, being realistic, I’m starting to think that they’ll probably wait til some time in May, now…

Actually the date on the site says its 4/30 for the demo.

Hmmm, well, moreso the point then…

But any way, hopefully they’ll finish this up sooner rather than later.

release date: 5/26
price: 2500 yen

stores will begin accepting pre-orders for the game on 5/1

Fantastic.

Question #1!
Any word on a demo? I’m gonna’ need to know if it works on Vista or not. (Don’t ask, I need Vista for a very specific project)

Question #2!
Are they gonna’ sell it online or only in stores? Who can pre-order this crap for me in the land of the rising sun? I might be able to get one of my friends from japan to find somebody who’s willing to do me a favor if nobody from SRK is planning on working something out.

The real question is will there be network play?

stores that sell doujin products i’m sure. i’m gonna get mine asap on 5/1 since i’m more than sure that this will sell out in pre-ordering stage. and 2500 yen is dirt cheap, especially considering the fact that what we get in the product is professional quality (a really good one at that) as far as we are concerned so far.

but yea anyhowwwwww.

now that this game is coming out… FURRIES AND NAZIS, YOUR TIME IS LIMITED.

only 2500 yen? Wow, thats awesome. And 5/26 release date is even sweeter…

I dunno, that 2500 yen pricetag kinda scares me…

that’s like $23 if you didn’t know
