100% agreed on cheating with a self-starting one.
Part of the fun over the years is trying to figure out new ways to get that thing started.
My only real gripe about using it as a fidget toy is the buzzing sound that it makes. Kind of wished it was silent.
I got mine when I was at my old job, probably around 2007-2008 or so. I actually originally planned to get one for my uncle who, at the time, was recovering from a forearm/elbow surgery, and figured might as well get one for myself just to mess around with.
Sounds pretty good so far, pretty beefy for a budget PC.
You also have a nice upgrade path ahead too.

I didn’t have any plans on getting one just because I have no real interest to mod/upgrade my PS1s, but this seals the deal that I won’t be giving that company any business on other mod parts that might be interesting down the line.
