PM sent. :china:
Itās actually pretty simple and Iām surprised more people havenāt done it yet.
I just came.
A router will work a lot better for that recess on topā¦
And it can be mounted from inside. Just takes a bit more work.
His last post was in Dec 2008. Heās become something of a legend in Tech Talk.
I cannot understand his typing.
He is weird.
Laugh.
Beat down by a gang of handicapped people for stealing their signs, I bet.
I figured as much. Only problem: I havenāt invested in one, not even a Dremel Trio (which would seem perfect for something like this). Maybe before the year is out. As it stands, Iām leaning to just tossing the boot on there and calling it a day this time. Unless I take the neutrick apart and attach it to a 24mm button⦠but then Iād have to go back over the hole with a 30mm forstner to make the recess, and with the 24mm hole already bored through, it would be a little harder to make sure itās centered (although a drill press would helpā¦which I also donāt have)
If you use gorilla glue you can attach the bare nuetrik to the 24mm snap-in to avoid having to make any alterations to the case. After the glue dries you can chip off the excess expanded glue and youāre golden
Hereās a shot of my berserk stick for reference: Joystick Vault / Berserk Arcade Stick
Thatās exactly what I was talking about. I playes around with a 24mm screw in, and it worked as well. That said, since I already have the boot, I may just roll that way on this project and do something like that on the next one. No need reinventing the wheel here (although I may change my mind again once I stain this case
Did the jlf shaft just drop right in? and did you ever get a shaft extender or what?
What is that? Short JLF shaft on a K-stick?
Thanks for the tip! I tried this out on a few buttons I had lying around (OBSF-30, OBSN-30, OBSF-24 and PS-14-DNC) and it worked on all of them! This is going to come in handy for sure. I also discovered that Sanwa switches will fit in my Seimitsu PS-14-DNC so thanks for that too!
I think itās a combination of mounting short, high dustwasher, and giant balltop making super short work of that shaft.
Large balls typically do make shafts look shorter, yes.
Looks like I have a new sig when I get home
mustā¦resistā¦temptationā¦to troll!!!
fuck, majin beat me to it
Hmm, the raised bit below the dustwasher made me think it was a K-stick.
owned!
About damn time they did something for berserk fans. Loved the crap out of that show.
Yup the shaft though a bit snug dropped right in, I did get the shaft extender from Laugh just the other day

Youāre welcome! I have tons of old buttons caps just hangin around so I figure why not put them to good use lol
