Or this…

Semitsu logo perhaps please?
LOL, we already have the Seimitsu Inside logo (the existence of which is why a friend of mine asked my to make the Sanwa one in the first place).

Well 100 grit sandpaper wasnt low enough to expand these semi 28mm holes to 30mm without a lot of work
guess im off to the hardware store tomorrow
That looks really cool. I’m curious how the stick works with buttons, seeing that the joystick itself has its own USB interface.
Cleaning my TE’s buttons as we speak. Noticed some grime on the sides of the white OBSFs so I disassembled them and ran them over with an old toothbrush, even gave the dark hais a once over to be thorough… I’m a fiend for cleanliness you see.
EDIT: I am now going to pretend that the Start and Select buttons do not exist, for my sanity’s sake.
LOL yeah im gonna do that later, i had a sfiv/sfIII/tvc casuals/BBQ at my house last night and needless to say my fightsticks were handled a lot i gotta clean them before can use them. almost ocd with how much a clean my fightstick after i use it. i wash my hands everytime before i even touch my fightstick.
btw nice on that sanwa badge, im gonna put together a few stickers and print them out.
got something stupid/crazy/awesome to show everyone soon.
how the hell would I wire that thing?
Hey Guys im on the last leg of building my first custom. (congrats, i know!) I need some opinions though the quick disconnects i have are a bit too big but the next size down is way to small to fit on my buttons or stick. I was thinking if i dabbed a bit of sotter on there to hold the qd to whatever its connecting? Or maybe hot glue? Or electrical tape? Like i said opinions would do nothing but help.
I have a very technical Q for the american stick makers here.
On a jap stick if you hold any direction and let it fling to neutral, the joystick doesn’t bounce around on the inside allowing more inputs to be triggered which is the case on an American one.
Is there anything I can do to mod my happ stick so it doesn’t trigger multiple inputs if my hand slips or if I want to go to neutral by letting the stick go? I keep getting these damn random mistakes because my joystick is flying around when I let it go to neutral.
I’ve had both p360’s and multiple happ sticks with many different springs. I have yet to this day to find a spring that will not trigger multiple inputs on an American stick. @ one point, I had the stiffest spring available from happ comp and it would still trigger inputs if you let the stick go.
Why do the jap sticks not trigger multiple inputs if you let it go to neutral but American sticks do? and is there anything I can do to make my American stick react to neutral like a japanese one would?
I know someone is going to say, just buy a jap stick! nope, can’t play on those things but I do like the way they return to neutral.
I believe that the lack of deflection in the Japanese sticks is due to their looser spring (less inertia).
Just don’t let the stick go like that!Using Happs for years, I’ve never had that problem. But, if you’re just letting the stick go, you’re asking for trouble
What buttons and what size quick disconnects are you using? Japanese arcade buttons use .110" QDs while US buttons I believe use .187" QDs.
Is there any way to make your own stickers on a home printer?
I want some Seimitsu & Sanwa stickers.
they do sell some sticker paper but i think you will have to cut it out which could be kinda hard. im trying to make http://www.hirdyman.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/8f2cdba1a1badge.jpg.jpg the newest badge for there core processors.
Right, anyone who’s put a new stick in a MadCatz SE, how did you secure the 5 pin connector, mine keeps slipping out and causing toyota style forward and backward movement that takes a delay of a second or two to stop.
Glue.
Hot glue gun if you got one. Not permanent.
