Yeah, it looks like a relatively thoughtless photoshop collage. I do believe every single character is looking in a different direction. The paste of Ryu on top of Iron Man’s arm is especially bad.
I’d suggest doing it, and make sure its all over capcom-unity. There’ll be enough voices to get Capcom to swap arts; you could have your work on a legit game along with legit headphones.
As a designer, the MvC3 logo offends me. Frickin’ default Layer Styles? Are you kidding me?
I want to believe it was mandated by some thoughtless suit at Marvel, because any logo designed by Capcom’s SHOEI (i.e., all previous VS series games, up to and including TvC) destroy it.
And yeah, the cover art is pretty bad. I’m stunned and dismayed they’re not going with Shinkiro.

Verifying how the two pcbs read the whammy bar and rigging it so it’s compatible is the whole game. Rest is all standard fare.

Prob better to start with the 360. You said the ps3 ver uses the dongle, right? So if I’m going to swap it with a sixaxis anyways might as well start with 360. If the 360 one isn’t cm, I can just swap that with a ms late ver wireless pcb.
Yeah, the whammy bar is the only thing I’ll have to investigate. Everything else is easy, breazy.

OK. If my buddy has a spare 360 controller I’ll steal it from him. If not, I’ll find one for cheap online and have it shipped to you. This should make Rock Band night fun… If it works, I may even get the bass and have that modded
Actually, if you need an extra controller or two to do this mod, I have like 3 of them, and I can give at least 2 if needed. All of them are wireless Xbox 360 controllers.

The best Street Fighter player in the world uses a TE. If you are debating that 0.5-1 frame of lag on SRK, you will never be at the level where that same frame will make a difference to your gameplay. =/

Anywho, working on a mayflash stick at the moment. I was looking forward to it until my cat bumped it. Now there’s a hole in the case. It can be covered up with artwork though, which the client loved (especially since he’s getting it for free now). I figured that was just good service.
Yeah from a competitive perspective i guess it doesn’t even really do me any favors seeing as all our local tournies are held on stock TEs anyways, might as well learn with the lag. PCBs aren’t really expensive so its not really about making up excuses but more just fixing a lag issue for little cost. Disappointing though to find out that the ‘premium’ stick you bought a year ago has inherent lag, and the whole scene uses them now so its like the status quo. Oh well
