If it’s still under warranty you would want to contact them before you do anything. Cannot emphasize that enough.
Eh. Honestly, blaming your PCB for lag? Because I don’t care about watching the whole video, I honestly don’t know how much lag they’re claiming. A frame or two? Just like anyone who uses a converter set-up? Seriously, when you get used to a certain amount of lag, it doesn’t matter when the amount is so insignificant as a frame or two. When I played some old puzzlers with a recording set-up, yes, there was a lot more lag than I was used to, but after a bit, I had adjusted to it to time it for those frames.
Or, you know, Toodles could make a 360 PCB better than both. Bahaha.

You’d be surprised. I’ve seen people complain about specific buttons giving them “lag”, a proven (by both manufacturer specs, as well as the community) monitor to give them “lag”. People will always find something to bitch about.
Not to throw fuel on the fire, but the Japanese arcade stick community has completely convinced themselves that HRAP VXes (and Fighting Stick VXes, same PCB) are a frame or two faster than TEs. Stems from one guy doing a set of tests (admittedly extensive) on PC and 360.
I would like to see someone independently reproduce his tests so we have a sure answer one way or another.
I, too would like to see these tests re-produced, because not to sound like a dick, or racist- but there is a pretty vocal set of Japanese internet goers who are very xenophobic, and I could entirely see them taking the piss out of this entire situation because Hori is Japanese, and Madcatz isn’t from their sacred isle.
Indeed. Xenophobia is undoubtedly a huge component. You would not believe the race-tinged flame wars that go down daily between MadCatz and HORI supporters on 2ch…

I could say “I think Super Street Fighter IV is a bad game, based on these game mechanics”, and because I have an oppinion that’s different from theirs, I’m a troll. It’s like a defense mechanism when you’re butthurt.
2ch is easy mode though, mention fallout 3 and it’s like dropping a bag of blood into a pool of sharks.
<edit> What makes it even better is that my japanese is incredibly broken, and I refuse to use Kanji, so you’d hope that they would catch on that a non native speaker is continuing to do this. Nope.
My personal opinion on this topic, my TE works fine and I don’t give a flying fadoodle about a one frame advantage or what not. It works fine, and that’s the end of it /topic
