Fanatiq’s is far better, and even FChamp’s magneto is better on a team with worse synergy for magneto and with better results against far better opponents in real tournaments.
Speaking as a Spider-Man player, I really wish people took more notice of Spider-Man players. Almost nobody seems to be listing any on this topic. He’s really an amazing character.
Didn’t Fanatiq finish like 17th in some random recent tourney.
Results aren’t everything…actually I think there’s a number of Japanese Magnetos that surpass Fanatiq and FChamp’s pretty easily(Chou, Liquidmetal, Tokido, some others), but I think Joker has the craziest execution of them all.

I’ve definitely known of Xero and all that he’s done for the Spider-Man boards but all his matches are online which definitely isn’t a basis for a fair assessment of what he can actually do.

And I can’t stress this enough, ABEGEN is clearly a shoe-in for Thor, She-Hulk and Tron.
I’d really like to know what ABEGEN was thinking when he made his team.
How do you even think of making a team like that?
From what I can tell, ABEGEN is originally an anime player and he played Potemkin and Tager in their respective games.

Well I suppose that makes sense. He’s got all of the pseudo-grapplers on his team other than Haggar.
I’m not sure how he discovered this team but he’s been loyal to it since the beginning of vanilla, regardless of the tiers.
All his characters have command grabs, ground or air (though Tron’s rarely gets any use). He seems to feel really strongly about grabs in this game. I’m not sure exactly where Tron comes into the pictures…I mean she works really well with the team but it isn’t because of grabs or anything, I’m not sure what specific qualities he was looking for that lead him to Tron and not any other point char.
I actually spoke to Tenboss (he posted in my channel), maybe I can ask him some questions about ABEGEN…
I dont agree with Huoshen having the best Tasky, I would say either Moons or Josh Wong to be honest.

There’s a difference between the player who brings out the most potential out of his character and the player who places the highest in tournaments with a character.

This is my personal list, I left out the characters that I couldn’t make a confident decision on. I think a few of these are open to debate but most of them I am confident with.
I would put Chris G down for best Hawkeye, shame he doesn’t pick him anymore.
IMHO I would have to say either DMBrandon or Kinderparty has the best Arthur. But on the other hand alot of people that have seen me play Arthur has told me they were the best Arthur player they’ve ever seen, and that my friends consider me THE Arthur player especially since I’ve stuck with him since the launch of Vanilla MvC3. So I don’t know whether to feel flattered or to truly consider myself up there when I still have alot to prove.
I believe the best MODOK is the The Worst. (I kid, I kid, no really I do.)
Elvergon is the single best MODOK player out there. I think he’s the first genuine “MODOK master.” He has mastered using all of MODOK’s tools to their full potential so seemingly effortlessly that it is just unbelievable. He makes all the other MODOK players look like amateurs.
