Heya Zombiepatrol7, thanks for posting up! We have people of all skill levels at Best Bout, it’s a mix of players. Gaining experience in person is huge, it will certainly take you further than online for sure. You should come down and check out Throwdown Tuesday, as well as our big tournament this weekend. Cool, thanks for the quick overview. Just one last question, you guys have some controllers down there right? Just making sure because I play PS3 and your site says you use 360s mostly(except for MK9, which for some inane reason made me laugh). I’ll get down there as soon as I can.

They have arcade sticks and they have an adapter that will let you play ps3 on 360 if thats your preference. They also have pads if thats your preference.
MK9 is played on ps3 because of the patches on it not saving properly on 360’s so the 360 always has to be connected for it to use the updates. I use played loosely since I dont think they have had many turnouts above 5 people for mk.
Thanks Marty for covering the question. Yup, we have some controllers/pads, but we always recommend you bring your own to be sure. It’s always better to play on a controller you know too, and to carry it as back up in case. For Tuesdays and Fridays, I guess it is free to watch, people usually ask that about the tournaments. I recommend just coming in, if you are comfortable pay the $5 and get some games in. Casuals are meant for practice, nothing is on the line. The one thing we do want to be careful of is people not paying, then snaking in games. We recommend you come in and school with us!
