st. hk and st. mk are boss. She can be thrown out of ex. pinwheel. Divekicks can be punished if they hit you above the waist.

Yeah, I have yet to have any real trouble vs. Juri as Bison. Matchup seems pretty basic, just walk up to her (walk being the key, don’t get greedy chasing her and take divekicks to the face), bait EX Pinwheel where appropriate, and pressure her to death. Her fireballs barely stall Bison at all and she’s not gonna catch anything of yours with her counters that put you in any kind of danger. She’s slippery but time is almost always on your side. Just slow-jam that bitch and let her get a good taste of the chrome on your stompin’ boots.
Yeah, to say I haven’t figured it out is sort of poor wording on my part. I don’t think I’ve had any real problems vs Juri yet, but I also don’t have an "OK, against Juri do X, Y and Z" gameplan. Perhaps a testament to how free the matchup really is.
Not only is landing ultra 2 hard online… anti airing is harder (imo), you need precise timing, and online is just… terrible.
It sucks because online is the only option i have atm… none of my friends play sf
Bison can ultra(#1) juri’s dive kicks on reaction as long as u have a charge and remember that bison still has ultra (#1) it depends on spacing but if u see her dive kicks enuff its not that hard. same goes for t.hawk, and adon.
You can also prebuffer U2 by using the shortcut motion so that they only see you crouching, like the Bison in this vid here does: [media=youtube]FSBKlakGnfU"[/media]

Sometimes i do c.lk 3 but sometimes the SK wont come out, so does anyone have any decent none charge combos?
If I do c.LKx3 and the SK doesn’t come out I’ll usually throw a c.MP. 3f gap … will usually catch “reversal” pokes. As for actual combos, there’s a bunch in the combo thread.
Just confirmed this. I’ve seen a lot of Guy players do s.MP, s.HP xx Shoulder. On block, even LP shoulder is free Ultra (or reversal SK/PC). EX shoulder makes it a true blockstring.
cr.lp, close st.lp, st.lk, cr.mk xx scissors is a good guaranteed charge combo. The only thing is that you have to be close and it doesn’t work on everyone (fails on Sagat, Sim, maybe a couple others).

I love s.LK, s.LK, s.HK combo. It’s a scary thing to see HK hit, it’s just painful to watch.
Yes. But in certain situations the s.HK can whiff. I’ve had it whiff while trying to perform this combo on a ducking Balrog in particular. In the event that such a situation presents itself substitute s.HK for s.MK.

huh so the shortcut for buffering is just down to down forward and then forward+three kicks when you want to activate it? i gotta practice this because it’s just totally obvious when my bison is teabagging the floor and moving forward ever so slightly instead of backwards…
i need to not be lazy and test out if PC is any use vs his wall dives.
so far, most of what Bison can do locks down Vega, sadly. But then again, I think Bison is 4th best character in SSFIV
Haha funny… James Chen felt Dudley is at a disadvantage against Bison because Bison normals keep him out so well. I agree from experience but Bison needs meter to survive hi-lo mix ups to continue keeping Dudley out if he gets knocked down.

Alex Valle was doing a live tutorial on Adon. Adon’s super + Punch followups is pretty safe. Got beat by Ryu DP and maybe possible with Bison’s quick 3f c.LK.
