"BEST BIPSON!" - Dictator Match-Ups

Yeah Iv played with it, and the timing is super strict. But it also works good for making SD follow up for efficient/harder to defend.

M Bison is too hard to fight! He should be because he’s the boss!

Beat st.lk you mean? I don’t doubt that Cammy could change the height on her dive kick (or do other things) to beat st.lk. The important thing is that, with st.lk, she can’t just instant dive kick in your face for free to beat crouch tech. Once she starts having to think about and use other things to beat st.lk, holding up on defense becomes that much easier. That is, assuming that there isn’t a dive kick timing that beats BOTH crouch tech and st.lk :stuck_out_tongue:

nice job on that headstomp, if EX works too it will be lot of more fun.

btw, EX and EX diver take A LOT OF HP out even blocked, I just © win another turtle today and most I do on him is chip damage…EX blocked and EX diver…oh sht no HP left…

Turtle Sakura is very annoying.

and sometime I do normal PC cross over and charge for EX PC when I land on other side, it work sometime if they can’t stop thinking to punish you.

Oh whoops, I read that wrong. I thought you meant plinking the cr. lp/cr. lk so either a cr. lp comes out (which stuffs dive kicks) or you tech the throw.

Funny thing about skull diver (ex or non ex) is that they’re like +7 or +8 ON BLOCK. It’s pretty sick. That’s off the top of my head, so my numbers can be a little off, but Bison’s pretty heavily in the positive.

EX-SD is supposed to be like somewhere between +10 to +15 on block. It’s madness. Just need to find the sweet spots.

good bison, but some of his move is weird, like EX and other PC got cross back? how he charge? I can only do it like in face but he start at mid range and I don’t think there is time for charge…but he did.

and he is timing a lot by c.MP as time indicator/charge buff

That’s the hardest part IMO. SD is soooooooo easy to AA, even by characters with no SRK-like. Never really tried EX though. Does it have better prority ?

I just can’t deal with throw, keep guess wrong.
and I review my replay, I guess wrong avg 6 grab per game, dame I just can’t c.tech right with some people.

I lose like 10 game straight to same person RYU… and nothing special just light SRK and throw…overhead j.mk into SRK I mean come on, and that guy is like anti bison or some sht I just can’t beat him.

sudden shift from same character with total different style I get it, I eat tons of stuff people throw out but this is just totally strange, it make me sick.

any idea to fix this?

If you cross them up in the air fast and recross them up as you’re falling from the skull diver, many times they’ll auto correct anti air in the wrong direction. This screws up a LOT of characters. Even Guile’s crouching fierce can auto correct in the wrong direction.

so is like you go over them little bit and pull all the way back before EX SD land??
I don’t know, I think EX SD land little bit faster than regular one, and caught people love to use FA.

any good way to train the sense of when to tech the throw?? I just can’t stop getting throw and is very frustrating…

wait, what if they crouching? I don’t think EX SD can get crouching unless they are huge character like gief/abel

Just crouch tech when you want to tech throws. It works against everyone who doesn’t have a dive kick or effective frame trap. If you can’t time it right, figure out what you’re doing wrong. If you’re getting thrown, you’re either doing it way too early (probably) or way too late (less likely, but still possible). If you’re doing it early, remember you have to hit the tech a few frames after you block their attack.
For the SD (ex or non-ex), after the headstomp, steer the SD a little over (to cross them up) and immediately pull it back (to get back in front). You’ll figure out the timing after practice, but it causes a lot of problems. They can’t even FA if you do it right or they’ll FA in the wrong direction and you basically get a free throw (at least).
Also, I believe SD/Ex-SD works on crouchers unless they use an evasive maneuver like ryu cr. mk.

Cammy is broken.

That is all.

Not sure if this has been mentioned earlier on in the thread (its late or else I’d go through) but just played a T Hawk online…

Okay, so I block the Condor Dive and then Ultra 1 on reaction only to get EX SPD’d after the first knee press?:wtf:

3rd round- Same thing only to be EX DP’d out of it?

Anyone had this before?

I’ve never had that happen before. That’s some serious mashing on their part. Can you save replay and upload?

Yeah, I’ll see what I can do… Either try and borrow some capture software or may just record is from a camera…

Just looking at the Gief match-up. I know if used correctly his J.Fierce will either beat or trade at best with my st.RH. Do we have anything that will beat this clean? I’ve messed around with standing fierce which was fairly useful but it really needs to be pressed early because of the start-up?

Also I was saddenned when I saw that an anticipated EX PC escape in the corner can be easily baited and punished with lariat. I assume we just have to bait these lariats and punish accordingly

I’ll probably sound like mr obvious here but if T.Hawk usually can’t block punishing U1, there’s no way he can SPD either
Maybe you timing was off ?

Yep U1 is only invincible in startup. So after the first knee press of it, if you opponent has an invincible move you can get reveraled, just alot of players don’t know that which is why its so rare to see it happen.

Doesn’t matter. If you’re Ultra punishing, the Ultra is comboing. You can’t reversal out of a combo.
