"BEST BIPSON!" - Dictator Match-Ups

yeah if you don’t have ultra the best punish against EX upkicks is neutral jump fierce (so you avoid the kunai and land on her after she descends because you can and kind of have to hit nj. fierce very late) st.close mp xx fierce PC for like a little more than 300 dmg. ouch. if the spacing is off use nj. roundhouse, cr.mp xx fierce PC. remember tho that if the spacing is such that you can do st.close mp instead of cr.mp always go for it, does more damage than cr.mp. I don’t remember but fierce, cr.mp xx fierce PC does almost 300, I could be wrong though and it might do around 300, but using st.close mp instead pushes it over 300 definitely.

nj.hk, st.cl.hp xx hp pc is 312 dmg

oh right, forgot about that. and if you block it point blank you can always just do nj. fierce and net a good bit more. Any damage is good damage against low health characters like Ibuki.

This might be old news to some of you, but WTF is up with Adon and crossup PC? I can’t land one after a lk scissors knockdown in all forms, crossups, straight up frontal combo, just naked scissors or whatever. Only EX PC works, but I swear that I was able to do it before…is my memory mistaken or is this some weird quirk of Adon’s hitbox and quickrise animation that does this? Is there some sort of special trick to getting PC to crossup against him? nearly just cost me a match and i’m confused…

Soo… Sorry I didn’t go through this thread to see if this info’s been posted before, but we had a mini tourney today in Japan and TUC (~105k BP, but not a grandmaster anymore? haha) and Neurosis (~120k BP) was there. I watched them play. Good shit on the frame traps. Anyway, that’s besides the point. I ended up on a team that, after one person left, consisted of just 3 Bisons haha.

So I went to fight a Fuerte, and one of the better Bisons on my team said “Psycho Crusher!” I was confused (and don’t speak Japanese) so I ended up getting raped. Since this is vanilla (arcade), we Bisons are trained to very rarely use normal Psycho Crusher. Well, apparently it’s impossible or very hard for Fuerte to punish this even considering how unsafe it is. I don’t know the details because, like I said, I don’t speak japanese, but the guy basically did a LOT of psycho crushers. I’m not talking about spamming it, because obviously if Fuerte knows you’re going to do it, it’s an easy punish, but he did like 5-6 normal crushers (not after knock down either!) to get in on Fuerte. I asked him if it was safe and he nodded, but then he said something in Japanese (maybe exceptions?) then I didn’t understand. Anyway, take that for what it’s worth guys.

I’ve read somewhere on SRK that Adon wakes up significantly faster than the rest of the cast.

I’ll play with that shit in training mode today.

I noticed in a match that Adon does get up quicker and its damn near impossible to cross him up.

At first I thought it was a bunch of BS, but after playing against him a few times, it does look like he gets a faster than the rest of the cast.

He does. LK Scissors to Xup PC doesn’t work on him at all.

I was kinda thinking that the Adon match could get kinda hairy for Bison, but U1 shuts down alot of his options especailly if you are turtleling him, and he really only has a couple of options. So once you get a feel for the player, Adon isn’t that scarey at all.

Coming to the conclusion that anyone with an air throw has an advantage over Bison, yes I know stay along the ground, but sadly you can’t, Bison’s normals are good but they don’t solve everything sadly. Every other option he has requires meter. So in short if you wanna even attempt to do any dmg what so ever your going to have to jump eventually.

^Yeah, but the key is to jump at smart times. Just bc we cant jump in whenever we want doesnt mean we cant jump in period.

Sure seems like we can’t jump with those who can react and win with a jump/back air throw and it somehow beats everything even done early.

Wouldn’t be so bad if Bison’s AA wasn’t so unreliable honestly. At least we could return the favor then

Adons walldive kick whatever its called is retarded. Safe full screen fast and breaks armor. Also can cover a lot of ground. And then we got moves like devils reverse. Capcom is retarded sometimes.

What is the best way to deal with Cammy’s instant cannon strike pressure into blockstring (especially with no meter in a corner), I usually get into a bind when this happens. The only ways I deal with this is the occasional backdash and mashing jab to knock her out of her cannon strike.

You and me both have problems with this, I have the same issues with Rufus. What I have been told is st.lk can beat it but from what I have found you have until her foot is out to at least cause a reset. Aka you have much less than a quarter second to do it on reaction. Not all that reliable and worse it forces you to stand, almost all of Cammy’s attacks go low, guess wrong and pay if she decides not to TKCS or if she does but you miss the stupidly short window and eat a combo instead.

Oh and btw if you end up blocking one and you think you can counter her if she goes for another…you can try but I wouldn’t place bets. That move has sickening frame advantage on block and hit. +8 on block and +11 on hit.

I typically read their block string patterns, and go for the cr.jab when she’s far enough for the TKCS. Just wanted to know if there was a better way that I’m looking past.
And I believe there is an OS for Rufus’ dive kicks. I believe you just have to do st.short ~st.jab, which’ll knock him out of a dive kick if he does it again, or will tech a grab if he goes for it.

If you’re pressing cr. jab against Cammy, you’re not crouch teching, so she can just tick throw you. She has a good mixup that you should just try to avoid in the first place.

Tuc not Grand no mo? >_< good to hear Neurosis is still at it tho.

should arcade stick make you play better or what? I use 360 D pad but I just think I reach my limit on controller, can’t do better move beside 2 bnb, and not 100% on them…

I sux in stick, I use it against my brother, my bison can’t do anything beside whiff s.HK, and yeah, j.mpx2 teleport is common.
