I’m really glad she got leaked though because that let’s her start with some dignity as a new character in a new game. She’s clearly not a joke character and shouldn’t be treated as part of a joke. None of the other new characters were cheapened like that. The most that happened with Rashid was Ono posted one pic that got people thinking about Cody. Oh and that slashes pic that got me thinking about Vega, before he was the next revealed character.
And really, if the outcry of hate over Zangief was so big, I don’t think it would’ve been in good taste for the PR man to toy with his audience’s emotions more.

If there won’t be any dedicated zoners, SF5 might be a game where command throws are so readily available, that everybody is going to be afraid of using them. Thus, despite no full-screen characters, the best players are going to depend on their fundamentals and the versatility of their characters.
That actually raises a new question. If two different characters who have a command throw, and the throw is the same frame start up, done on the same frame, which throw wins? Is there going to be a “command throw tech” we’ve yet to see?
I really can’t wait to see Laura in action. Like can I trust somebody with my phone number to text me when the video is online? She’s just so cool and makes me feel alright with Rose probably not making it in.
She looks great and I really like her haircut.
Her moves could be a mixture of capoeira and bjj. One of her kicks reminds of a copeira move and her grabs definitely look like bjj.
I am sorry for Ono that the Pics of her got leaked. I think he would have posted that pic of her with the lighting and in front of her he would have put his Blanka toy. And a lot of people would have thought that he is going to reveal Blanka at the brasil game show
Laura should have darker skin than what she currently has. It makes little sense to design a character that looks nothing like the vast majority of the country’s population.
I understand the social agenda, but let’s not go there & enjoy the game for what it is. :neutral: lol
You know… brazilians are not just black if that was what you were thinking when doing this. In terms of demography, actually, the majority there is white. Then we have the ‘mixed race’, which is exactly the default color of Laura. Then Black. Then Asians. Then Natives (poor guys were decimated).
