I would like to know what her game play would be like. I do have a theory.
Probably something along the lines of paraylzing the opponent with electricity and then extending her combos on the
electrified opponent. Maybe her V-Trigger involves messing with the opponents controls if she attacks the opponent
with any electric-based attack. On the initial start up of the V-Trigger, she’d probably charge herself up for 5 seconds.
A normal move would zap the opponent in place for a moment (if it does emit some electrical element)
A special move would reverse the opponents controls for 3~5 seconds.
A Critical Art would scramble the opponents controls for 3~5 seconds.
Or, she may use her electricity to slow down the opponents movement and cripple their options. (The V-Trigger example could lead to potential problems and her theoretically being broken…)
These are just some odd theories I have in mind. I can imagine her having decent (or relatively quick) walk speed.
Then again, we’ll just wait and see what Capcom has in store for this buxom babe.
Inspiration
The difference being that Combat Sambo allows strikes, which BJJ doesn’t, so there’s more room for stuff like that.
Combat sambo is a lot more than only holds/chokes, BJJ? Not that much.
While there’s still the possibility, basing special moves on things that are usually not allowed doesn’t make that much sense to me.
Wouldn’t be the first wrongdoing in a fighting game but whatever, I’d go all-in on the pure grappler bet for those shown moves.
(But that’s me hoping for her to be a pure grappler, too. I’d seriusly dislike the strike-hold-design philosophy for BJJ… IF it’s pure BJJ)
She wears a Jiu Jitsu gi as if it was a Capoeira outfit.

Poor guy. Ono’s always been like that crazy uncle who only shows up a couple of times a year clearly strung out on something and probably on the run from the police but then he gives you five hundred dollars and imparts sagely advice that you won’t understand the full implications of until a decade later.
A shame when things don’t work out.
I feel bad for Ono. Would’ve definitely been his biggest troll yet, I can imagine the little Blanka covering something and all you saw was the electricity behind. People would immediately think Blanka and then BAM!
What Famitsu should add as a title to complement the leak:
“Ono, stop fiddling around with fake promises of awesome non SF2 characters and start working on getting those blockstuns and pushbacks right.”
Honestly how does this even happen? How did famitsu suddenly have her pics when they weren’t supposed to? It must mean someone on the street fighter team secretly sold or leaked them to famitsu against Ono’s wishes.
