oh damn it’s been awhile since i played iidx when empress came out, i’m still stuck in the threshold of 8’s - some 9’s with a USKOC. even have a desktop arcade pop’n ASC sitting on my trunk never to be played since fever cs.
kinda strange i could play slightly better on the arcade (minus the big gap from keys to turntable from the koc. too bad there’s no more iidx machines in FL since nexus is gone.

the last time i ever hanged with orlando SFIV folks was at Torrin’s place where i brought my 360 and stick with blazblue (back in late september-early october). I usually came around the game room early in the semester to watch anyone play CvS2 and people just knew me as Jing’s brother .
but definitely for the new year i’ll chill for some IIDX and SFIV

Not IIDX, but I’ve been playing Guitar Freaks lately (my favorite bemani). You think you get bad at IIDX when you don’t play for a while? You have no freaking idea. Back when I played I had SSed some 60-70s, Sed (95% perfect+great) Onihime EXT/O (which is a 98 on a scale of 1-99) and cleared Daydream EXT/G (one of the most bullshit songs ever in bemani). I want to play v5 so badly. Fucking Rock To Infinity, A.Dogma, Dynamis, Vanessa, Chimera, Sound of Truth, Going My Way, etc, etc, etc

My local arcade has a Sirius and Pop’n 17, so I try to throw money at it whenever I’m in the area. Hardest song I can do in IIDX is probably The Shadow [A], Pop’n leaves me around 40’s.

I’m debating over a DJ Dao (FP7) or (Platinum Edition Evolution 2nd) I’m not sure what to buy. Any real advantages from the FP7 over the Platinum??
