Hi guys,
I just wanna share some combos for Teddie that I found on the internet and I found it very interesting since Teddie is a character with full of surprises. I want to dedicate this thread for Teddie as well
So please share your fancy combos among others
Iāll try to edit continuously as more Teddie players discover more combos. Feel free to give your opinions and thoughts since this is my first character thread
Some things of note that Iāve picked up from stream tutorials and play so farā¦
5B is insane, and if youāre not using it constantly at mid-screen youāre a fool. Not only if the reach of his bat amazing, but the move can be dash-cancelled (and I believe jump cancelled, but Iām not able to confirm that due to being at work). Best yet, itās almost 100% safe if you backdash cancel. Of course, keep in mind that you canāt cancel a wiff, only on contact.
Also keep in mind that if youāre close enough to the wall that it will send them bouncing into plenty of air setup opportunities.
-Bear Claw (TeddieScrew) is relatively safe if spaced right, and if used up close it can have the same effect that Dictatorās Psycho Crusher does in that youāll pass through and occasionally cross them up with the extra hits from the attack.
Another favorite of mine so far is to counter an antiair once youāve jumped by air turning and bear clawing. Catches a lot of people off guard. Same can be said for PuppetTeddie.
-Donāt get too discouraged with the items just because there are a lot and it seems hard to get used to set-ups with them because of having so many. Youāll eventually start remembering the order. At first, try to focus on getting good with a few of the items (mainly the barrel, red mech toy, and dryice).
-Speaking of the barrel, if youāre trying to remember set-ups, just remember that throwing it down then evade dashing through the opponent is always a great way to set up just about any damage, including all-outs.
-Finally, get good at air turning over an opponent and crossing them up with 5A. His feet have mad hitbox. =)
VIVA LA BEAR!
EDIT: Still getting used to the numbering of directions. Fixed a few I had wrong. Whooooops.

j. A is the shit.
Circus Bear (D) works really well after a combo ending in super. If they tech right away theyāll get hit, if they delay too long itāll combo (wonāt do too much damage though), however if they tech correctly they can get through unscathed, but if you predict that and do the C version you can hit them.
EX TVās are great to finish the round when youāre opponent is almost dead and you have lots of meter.
OK Iāve had a few days of online with Teddie. Today I was just pummelled by Elizabeth at full screen. IAD across the ground didnāt help, and TeddieScrew covers a lot of space but is not safe. The only full screen attack he has is EX Teddievision. What options does Teddie have to get in?
Air dash J.A .is basically it besides somehow getting a TV behind the opponent.
Yeah you canāt press buttons with Teddie. Heās a great character (cause he can do everything and he can throw like Kanji) but it will take a long time to get used to him. You have to know your opponent and their tools. Until that time just try getting in and see what works. For the elizabeth match-up I go to more of a grappling style with (5AA + CD) tick-throws. Teddie can kill the start-up for her moves by throwing her constantly. After a couple grab combos and an EX TV sheās done
Circus Bear can punish Elizabethās beam. Not exactly the option you can do all the time but it works fairly well if you can bait it, and it does a shitload of damage too.
