For what it’s worth, I was hearing that apparently Weiss is still in an Alpha state and her moveset isn’t fully complete, so she doesn’t have a Super in the gameplay builds shown yet.
What the hell is wrong with her sprites? It’s like she’s under the spotlight all the time, look how much brighter she is compared to Jin. Guess they haven’t finished the shading work yet?
I hope so, but Ruby’s sprite is also bad…

I wouldn’t really call that hinting at more series being included, at least not explicitly. I can’t say for certain if that’s noel, since I haven’t played much BB, especially with or against her, but if it is she could easily be talking to other BB characters, especially if it’s somebody she’s connected to in the story, like Lambda and Nu, or her friends, like Makoto or Tsubaki. More series would be cool (Aside from GG, I would love to get some other Persona and SMT characters, or some Chaos Code reps), but I doubt it at this point.

I thought it meant it would be a duo/puppet character like Carl, Ken/Koromaru or Celica (her stage is in the game already). Maybe her friends Tsubaki and Makoto like Mylzileto said. Or even the P3 characters.
Guests characters will probably be one of the last things to be announced.
The narrator for this trailer was Noel, just like Ragna, Jin and Ruby have been for the three previous ones. That line’s pretty much guaranteed to be referring to Makoto, Tsubaki, and possibly even Mai, for a Team Remix Heart reunion. I know BB’s got a TON of characters already, and we likely won’t even see all of them, but I surprise playable Kajun Faycott reveal would be pretty cool, IMO. Really interested in seeing what they could do with all of her chemicals and Spells. Been awhile since I played UNIEL, and I never used her, but I hear rumblings that Orie might not be in because Weiss seems pretty similar to her in terms of gameplay? Is anyone else feeling like that could be the case, and if so, how do you feel about it? SUPER stoked to finally see my UNGA BOIS! Now I just need Naoto, Nine, Kokonoe, either Nu or Lambda, Hilda, Eltnum, Enkidu, Phonon, Elizabeth, Adachi and some form of Sho Minazuki and I AM good to go on characters. Shadow Labrys would also be appreciated.
I’m not sure how willing ArcSys would be to make even more entirely new sprite sets for this game. Ruby and Weiss don’t even look finished yet, and I doubt they’re the only two rwby characters in the game. That said, the game being as early as it is, and the demand for Kajun in CF being what it is, I could also see her getting in because they might already be making sprites for her in that. Seriously, for all we know this could be an entire year away, coming next holiday season, that should give plenty of time to finish those up, and get those other newcomers we all want. A bit less on topic, but the more I think on it, the more I think Azrael needs a Demi-fiend pallette in this. They’re both shirtless, tattooed bare-fisted powerhouses with absurd physical strength, and Azrael’s attitude and beliefs fit very much in line with those of SMT’s various Chaos groups, which the Demi-fiend joined in his game’s bonus/golden/most difficult ending. That or Heat, since he eats people too.
Edit: Should probably clarify for those less aware of the Persona series that the the Demi-Fiend and Heat are both from the series that Persona spun off from (and shares a continuity with, kinda).
That would actually be REALLY cool for him, and I hope they also retain all the reference palettes everyone already has in their homes games too. But for new, I believe they just have Colors 1-4, but I’m optimistic of that number increasing in the final product.
