Ah yeah my bad, the claw attack only activates when enemies are present is all. I was just trying to see it
O-o I’ve had it activate when I’ve randomly ran down the hall and did an attack. Not like it’s any useful anyway.
It is cool to be running in panther mode towards an area and immediately able to cancel it with an attack. It REALLY comes in handy on a couple of the harder challenges actually.
i just finished the game, play time was around 9 hours. lmao i dint get any other weapons besides the kitana and shotgun.
nice game better and than any dmc game. Only 3 can compare imo. I hated the cut scenes with the film ish but other than that and stellar game. Bayonetta is for real.
I want these guys to try their hand at a “resident evil” killer.
Alright, so it seems pretty safe to say that Bayonetta is better than any DMC game produced. I fucking _love DMC but Bayonetta is just a superior game.
Does anyone else think Capcom is going to try their best to regain that title with the next DMC game? Is it even possible?
I don’t think they know how. They can only ever seem to get half the game right, Dante’s options and really thats just building on the system Kamiya laid out in DMC1. They still have yet to create much thats fight like stuff from DMC1 or Bayonetta. Blitz is about it.

Something tells me DMC5 is going to copy many elements from Bayonetta, I don’t see them making a better game or a more original game like Bayonetta. I will say this, Capcom is probably salty as hell.:razzy:
Don’t get me wrong though, DMC4 had an amazing combo system but as a game overall, Bayonetta kills it.
Bayonetta break dancing in this game is the tops. The style, the moves, poses, everything is just so damn smooth it’s almost disgusting. Those kickass finishers and demon summons. I don’t see how DMC can compete. The queen has taken her rightful place at the top of this action genre.
I just beat it. I clocked in at 15 hours ^_^’
Some of the chapters were just brutal and I hate how some battles almost start with you getting smacked in the face.

Game is pretty much perfect outside of that ish.
Now I’m ready to step up my game in normal. It’s gonna be a bitch and half to get all platinum but I can do it I think.
I may actually stop halfway in hard to go back to normal. I’m pretty set on wanting my tonfa bazookas right now.
Finally beat it. Now I just need to get my whip, ice skates, the rest of Rodin’s ish, and a coherent explanation of the story. I’m trying to give the game the benefit of doubt that maybe the plot went over my head but my gut tells me it’s complete gibberish. It’s the only real chink in game’s armor but I guess that doesn’t really matter when it plays like something out the future. This game raises the bar.
There is two things I hated about the game!
- The first time playing through it with those unexpected Action Button scenes where if you don’t push the button in time its automatic Game Over.
- There are some parts where it says “Jump’” to launch yourself but you have to stand in an exact spot in order for it to say it, one small movement and it doesn’t say it. (If you beaten the final boss already you understand which part I’m talking about).
Im starting to gather all these weapons i missed and the combinations with them are ridiculous. Btw, how do i use the lightning version of the claw? She only appears to use the fire one.
If you check the movelist, the 360 attack switches elements for Durga.
I just got them and the ice skates. Maaaan. They are so bad ass. Makes me really wish we would have gotten a real chainsaw weapon instead of the one she pulls out of hammer space to deal with the Manta Ray Angels.
Dude the skates are soooooooooo fun, I know the panther is faster but I love skating around lol
I like the way their Hold attack works as well, ice is a fun bonus too
