In that case, I’m just going to go for the trophy requirements (I hope there aren’t any retarded ones like NGS2’s “Kill 1000 dudes with this fucking weapon/move” and “Okay, now kill 1000 dudes with THIS fucking weapon/move now”) and then see about the plats later.
They have done Madworld, Infinite Space and Bayonetta. Their fourth game is directed by Mikami (of Resident Evil fame) and so far nothing has been said of it. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what they present to us next!
I wouldn’t be surprised to see them stick with Sega either, they specifically went to Sega as a publisher because Sega is famous for giving their developers a lot of freedom and support with their games (Same reason Resonance of Fate is with Sega).
Don’t forget the game has a range of difficulty settings, so even an action noob like me should be able to finish it. There is one setting that apparantly just about plays itself, but I’m sure there is a nice middle ground too.
Yeah I would wait to finish Infinite Climax before deciding if Pure Plating a difficulty setting is worth it to you.

I read that some places in Europe and the U.S. already have their Bayonetta copies in stock at certain retailers. Not sure which ones though.

Well IGN has officially reviewed Bayonetta and some bad news. The good news is on the 360 it got 9.5 and the reviewer says it’s the best action game he has ever played! The bad news is that the PS3 version gets 8.5 and it seems they have not fixed the issues that plague the Japanese version. I am hoping it’s just the critic copies but to be honest, the retail versions apparently have hit some stores so that does not seem to be the case. The PS3 version was apparently so bad IGN did two video reviews for the 1st time!
I have had the Japanese PS3 version for over a month now and I can say what he claims in the review is pretty accurate. The load times ruin the flow of the game and sucks if your replaying levels over and over. Also in some areas have extreme slow downs and huge frame cuts, especially on later difficulties. If you have a 360 just get it on that console.
If you don’t, please get the PS3 version regardless because the game is that good. There is a notion that if you can’t get it on 360 don’t get it at all, but I can’t agree with that. I am pissed at some of the issues but in the end I do not regret playing this game. Now I am wondering what happened to all the “Sony is helping with the PS3 US release” talk? Like I said maybe it’s the critic copy but apparently some vendors have the game. Also I doubt a patch can help an issue like 35 frames per second and under. If anything I hope we can get a patch for an install option.
Kinda makes me sad that the Critics didn’t get a fixed copy?

When I first came into work yesterday and I made notice of it I was so-so on that commercial but I fucking knew that every 10 seconds they’d be playing it and it’s start to wear thin with the quickness. I prank called the store up the street from mine’s with that song.
I could do a better commercial for that game easily.

There is a lot to absorb in the game. What I like about this game the most is the amount of things to unlock, I won’t spoil anything but you can play this game for years. You can also quote me on saying this game is DMC3 Tier, I’m not kidding either. Now I know why they said there will be no DLC for the game. They’ve taken the old school approach which is everything in the box. Something companies don’t do anymore…

Definitely will be picking this up for the 360 though since it seems to be the more polished and “perfect” version of the game.
