Any way, there’s not much that we don’t know, besides that last page. On it, we now see that Bayo can equip accessories that may give even MORE abilities. The ones we see give her classic Ninja Gaiden style “Dopplegangers”, while the other may give her some sort of Shield (or Parrying?).

yeah our books got updated with a 2010 release date for now. It’s not concrete so it’s possible to change of course.

That is some bullshit that it’s coming out in 2010 over here. Shit is already in english, wtf is up with late release date for us?
The fall release schedule is pretty crowded. I’d hate to see this game lost in the new releases.
In short? It’s a fairly BS reason to hold it over until next year, because they don’t want Bayonetta to go against the likes of CoD: Modern Warfare’s sequel coming out this fall, and some other big-name releases that come out around this time over here.
This would have been a SOLID reasoning, if it weren’t for the fact that everybody else is doing it too! And then they would have to worry about marketing this game with, among other things, God of War 3 right around the corner.
I swear, the biggest enemy that Bayonetta has, even more than God of War 3, will likely come from, once again, Sega’s piss-poor Marketing at work.
I applaud them for allowing PlatGames to make games like MadWorld and Bayonetta, but marketing is what helps to sell these games. And while I would like to think that giving gamers on both sides of the pond plenty of time to know Bayo at the likes of ComicCon and other conventions is great, they really should be upping the ante for what they consider an “important new property”.
