Game looks sick.
I was always a fan of the original DMC game over the sequals. Didn’t even know who Hideki was til recently when I read about this game. To find out that he was behind my fav DMC only make me want to play Bayonetta more.
The game is fine, if you liked DMC then you’ll like this ( or should) Your not any cooler or less nerdy because you think it to much fan service. DMC has just as much fan service for chicks, and dante tries just as hard to be cool and flashy.

And what’s the big deal about the sexuality? Imo it just makes the game more lighthearted/tongue in cheek and stylish. It’s not about making you drop your pants and going at it, it’s just continuing the extreme/over the top theme of DMC. It’s about having that corny charm that makes something that much more enjoyable.

This game reminds me of that South Park episode where a jealous Wendy gets a boob job, goes to class with enormous honkers, and gets laughed at for looking ridiculous.

I really want to like this game but it looks fucking stupid, even if I don’t factor in how un-original and un-stylish the protagonist whore is. I’m hoping someone takes the guns off her feet and rewrites her punchlines so that I don’t literally punch my monitor when she talks.

Yeah, co-op is about as much as you can ask for in a game like this nowadays.

As far as this game goes i prob wont get it either way, i always preferred to watch the DMC games over playing them, they get boring rather quick to me, and its looks like its going to be the same way with this title.
I doubt anyone here dislike’s women or sex, or is easily offended by “fan service” or over the top violence. I have rarely if ever heard anyone say something was to gory. But to much sexuality or fan service and " OMG cheesy nerdy fan boys with no life"
Personality imo there is a such thing as too much FS and gore. However based on what ive seen sofar, this doesn’t fall in that category just yet. And I doubt it will…

When I went to PAX I saw a preview for X-Blades which was pretty much the same thing: a chick in inappropriate clothing showing off the fact that she’s wearing inappropriate clothing. That game looked shitty too.
I’m all for gawking at chicks (real or otherwise) in inappropriate clothing, but when a game/movie/TV show/anything starts making that the cornerstone of presentation, that basically tells me “her tits are covering up our inability to make this truly compelling.”
Uhhh…WTF is up with her head? DMC4 failed to spark an interest for me and this doesn’t seem like it’ll be much better. Pass.
it looks playable. but i can imagine her voice and moves getting on my nerves after 30 minutes of game play. wit her “yah” “ha!” "oof"s… and her moves look lame. good graphics tho -thumbs up-
