Game developers are really pushed in a position with nowhere to go as far as innovation. And they are screwed if they give you more of what works.

I’m looking forward to this game. I just don’t understand the people who hate on this game for being too “over the top” and/or “cheesy” yet supported DMC and it’s shenanigans. It just reeks irony.
DMC has always been over the top action with a shitty story and cheesy dialogue to make it seem like there was a point to the violence in the game. So, I honestly don’t understand how DMC supporters can slap the term cheesy on this game in a negative way while supporting the ridiculous concepts DMC pulled.

I couldn’t contain my laughter when I heard that line, and that was suppose to be a freaking touching moment (guess it doesn’t help that I never cared for Trish in the first place, Lady FTW). Anyway, DMC remained bad-ass, even with it’s shitty writing, thanks to it’s gameplay. I’m sure Bayonetta will do the same.

How is this different from DMC? It looks exactly the same. Except with a hot-ass chick instead of a demon guy.
It has physical transformations and summons both of which are not in DMC. You don’t really have to look hard to find the differences.

It’s an action game set in a gothic setting of course it’s going to look like DMC on the surfface but just having physical transformations and summons and trap kills could easily make it very different from DMC. Hell the way combat works could make it nothing like DMC but I can’t say that cause I don’t have the game in my hands so I can only point out whats in the fucking trailers. Still if you just WATCH whats in the trailers you can see stuff that separates it from DMC. I mean shit do you look at videos of Ninja Gaiden and say “It looks just like DMC” or what?
