I honestly don’t see what all the fuss is about, it looks like a pretty typical DMC/God of War clone with polygonal sex appeal. I think people are right to be suspicious . Who knows, the combat might be really fun and the environments diverse and interactive, but I think its just the type of game that will lend itself to button mashing gameplay, bland corridors of infinitely spawning enemies, and horrible, horrible dialogue.
Fuck yeah. I plsy these games to beat shit down son. If i could lodge one complaint on DMC4 its that you spend too much time running around and not enough fighting endless waves of ass holes. It’s being made by the guy who made DMC1 and Viewtiful Joe gameplay wont be button mashy.
I like Ashley because her helplessness triggers my latent maternal instincts. She’s weak and can’t fend for herself and she’s kinda cute to look at so I’m like “awww, look at you, cutie. I just wanna protect you from every little thing!” I’m the same way toward a lot of helpless characters in video games, but it’s most apparent with Ashley because I have to love her enough to cancel out the hatred of billions of people.
She’s a whiny little bitch though. I mean shit she runs AWAY from Leon? Is she fucking retarded?

Her tits aren’t big enough for her to be called “two walking sweater puppies.” It’s whatever, though. I don’t ever defend Ashley’s honor or anything. She was a gameplay element that a lot of people didn’t like, and I happened to be the only one who felt compelled to save her because I genuinely liked seeing her smile rather than because that was what you needed to do to kill more shit.
If it’s hard for the right reasons, then cool.
