Wouldnt the Killgore trick be more of an exploit and not a glitch?
Technically, the rockets shouldnt come out after you switch the feet weapons, but coding wise I can see how after you switch weapons and the animation has already started that the rockets would still come out once Killgore is switched out…
After you switch weapons combos are supposed to be completely dropped so it shouldn’t even do the rapid kicks. Also, you can switch back and forth in the middle of the flurry even. That sounds like a glitch to me. Well that and even in normal circumstances the flurry would never fire a rocket on EVERY kick, it would only fire about 3-4 throughout the whole sequence.
this… i did not know, makes me almost want to try the shotty out again, although i did start to pick up the gazillion laser gun thing. anyways my gripe with the guns was i felt they were seriously lacking in the damage department… but with this yeah i’ll try it again, could really help out in infinite climax.
this… is a godsend, even though idk if i doubt i could dodge through the level, i rarely use the button cause it kinda gives me motion sickness -_-;
oh and some dude on lolgamefaqs said you could un-invert the controls on this section? if that’s true then this portion could be 100 times more enjoyable for me, like i’ll forgive them the fact that the rockets back end is so large i can hardly see what’s in front of me if i didn’t have to deal with inverted controls (makes it very difficult given the fact that all the controls for angel attack AREN’T inverted)
how’s the patch for this game? that was the reason why i haven’t bought it yet. don’t feel like getting a 360 just for one game. not really into shooters.
How about making a little effort to read the last couple of pages where people say what they think of the Patch. That kind of research might also help you find that the 360 has a lot of good games on it besides just shooters.
Yeah, it’s somewhere in the options you can change after pausing…or hitting the “back” button? I can’t remember since it’s been awhile since I changed things. You can change the controls for everything…there’s a motorcycle icon for that stage, and the missile icon for the Space Harrier stage…and probably another icon for everything else.
I also cannot stand inverted control…that shit is stupid, imo. Anytime it comes up, I immediately look for an option to change it back to normal.
That motorcycle shit was so fucking stupid. What the fuck was I even supposed to do? I just held up and dodged anything that came at me for a Platinum.
I’m still missing one record piece, and I know its somewhere in Chapter 3(It’s the Whip). Is there anyway I can backtrack, or do I have to clear the game?
One thing I think it’s missing that DMC has is a combo meter on your HUD. Like, it doesn’t even have to be extravagant, but I do like to know when my combos are getting better (and DMC does a great job of showing you, since you can see your combos go from D to SSS). Bayonetta just kind of makes you guess until the segment is over, and then it shows you some arbitrary score and gives you a medal.
playing though the angel slayer mode…
got to bayonetta at the end of chapter 5 after fighting 3 fucking Janne’s and died…
the accesories im using are the reflect/perry move and the butterfly shield. any tips for keeping the magic gauge from depleting?
Somewhate related to Seps comment, I wish there was a timer, NG style for the verse to let me know much time I have left to get a Platinum medal for time. That’s the only thing I would change about the score meter on the right.
