Bayonetta demands Dante (DMC) to make her a sandwich. Patch fix available for PS3!

I don’t like DMC3 because of Styles and Dante’s youthful personality. Styles is dumb. Notice how you can parry, and if they wanted to, block (just change LB/L1 to block and move taunt to back/select), as well as dash through dodging on the ground and in the air as well as use a wide range of moves without ever having to break your flow by hiting the d-pad in Bayonetta but in DMC3/4 with Dante you have to press the D-pad to change your ‘style’ of play?

Yeah that shit was NEVER a good idea. That’s why Nero made DMC4 so cool. All he need were all of Dante’s weapons and I would have forgotten about Dante completely. Shit is lame. I invent my own style of play. You don’t give me presets to work with.

Granted, in Bayonetta you have to choose to parry, and v-ism, and what not. But you all probably keep parry on all the time once you get it. That’s why it’s 200000 halos anyway. It’s the most important accesory to have. But after that you’ll have a wealth of combat options and you’ll never have to take your thumb off the analog stick to access them.

Though other than that ish I loved DMC3’s weapons. The three way ice nunchucks, agni and rudra, the electric guitar, and my personal favorite, Spiral. Omg I loved that gun. There was this one hallway in the game where it would ricochet like crazy ridiculous. I’d sex Spiral. Both of them for that matter.

The weapon change glitch that let you take the recoil off the spiral shot was GODLIKE. Being able to shoot that bitch without a 2 second delay in between bullets was ridiculous.

DMC3’s backtracking was NOTHING compared to DMC4. You LITERALLY:

Church > City > Snow > Castle > Jungle > Ruins take control of Dante > Jungle > Castle > Snow > City > Church > Final Boss
Fighting every boss in the game twice was also like taking a fat shit on the fans. Either the first half or the second half needs to go, Its was like half a game.

DMC3 wast difficult at all. It was a decent challenge, IGN at the time and the other gaming publications hyped it up as hardcore only because by that time everyone was so used to the super easy mode that games had at the time. After my first few playthroughs, DMC3 was easy as pie to S rank.

Back on Bayonetta:

Is it just me or are the P and K bullets stronger than the regular bullets?

Im on chapter 4 currently, and I have around 150k. Should I wait til 200,000 and get Selene’s Light or Gaze of Despair first? I havent bought anything.

whats this a-ism shiz you guys talking about in bayonetta?

im outi

Roberth

On DMC3:

Yup. Didn’t know about that Spiral glitch though.

On DMC4:

Double yup. You literally played the game twice when playing once.

On B:

Good question. I hope someone has an answer to that. And as far as accessories go. I wouldn’t get the Gaze unless you have all of the weapons one can get during their first campaign. I’d also definitely have the Parry accessory too because you’ll probably need that lucky parry now and again when the harder enemies come.

Buy selene’s light first.

For the nunchuks: 100 chapters need to be completed, so does completing one chapters Many times count

^ Yes. Just do the prologue over and over. It’s the shortest chapter.

DMC3 has more back tracking in it then DMC4.

For me the reason Dante’s part of the game kind of stinks is because Dante’s 85% recycled from DMC3 and too many of his missions are timed or have some stupid gimmick going on. They time you in his first mission, make you go through a stupid maze that has no rhyme or reason to it, then you get atacked by those stupid demons that swallow you from below. The next mission is a bit of a reprieve, but then the next mission is “timed” because your being health bar is being devoured by poison gas. The next two missions are nice cause they leave you alone and just let you play. But after those two you have the stupid boring savior fight. Blegh. I could give a shit about back tracking to be honest you have to do more of it in DMC3 and a good deal of it in DMC1 so whatever. I just don’t like the stupid gimmicks and the fact that Dante’s so recycled. Seriously the back tracking is a minor issue next to those problems. Fuck it though Neros a blast and Blitz and Assault and other stuff in the game are fun to fight and frequent. Also the bosses in that game are great short of Savior and perhaps Sanctus. He’s ok. So i don’t mind refighting them with Dante considering you have to do it differently with Dante anyway. The 3rd time with Nero is a bit much but whatever they where fun to fight.

As for DMC1 Vs DMC3 bosses I like DMC1s much more. For every couple of goofy ones in DMC1 like Griffon on the boat there is a crappy boring one in DMC3. Gigapede? Who thought that was a good idea? Doppleganger? Get the fuck out of here. Geryon? I don’t even want to talk about it. Leviathans fucking heart? Seriously?

For DMC4 they should have left Dante out of the game (Playablility wise) like where originally going to. He would have made for awesome DLC to run through the whole game with or something though and it would sting less that he’s so recycled.

The very first accessory in the shop, it makes 2 shadows that mimic your movements just a few moments behind you just like V-ism in A3

It’s not just you, the held versions are definitely stronger. The action button version of the gun is more for stringing combos together when the next set of enemies is too far to just do a Stiletto(Stinger) to reach them basically. Although once you get the double-tap R1/RB skill(“Umbran Teleport” I think? The move where you automatically turn into a crow and fly toward the next enemy almost instantly) you don’t even really need the action button gunshot as long as you have magic.

Personally I don’t see the point of Selene’s Light, when dodging is so easy. If you miss it alot just play safe for now and do it early, at least that way you don’t take any damage, and you’ll learn the timing as you go. Saves money early on too.

I’d say get Gaze(for framing) or Moon of Mahaa khala or whatever it’s called, the parry accessory.

DMC3 had more back tracking than DMC4? Are you guys on crack? I don’t even remember/vaguely remember any revisted areas in DMC3 compared to 4 where HALF THE FUCKING GAME WAS THE SAME EXACT LEVELS. I think the raging boners you guys have for Bayonetta are cutting your supply of blood to your brain.

You did backtrack alot in DMC3 but the thing is it was mixed in with new areas too. So while you did backtrack through an area you were also going towards a new area too.

Popped in Bayonetta this morning. I’ve barely stopped playing since. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.

Edit: sorry if this has been asked before but where’s a good place to just get halos?

basically

SHit, I want bayonetta but I’m trying to finish DMC4 right now because I know once I play bayonetta, I’m not gonna play DMC 4. I’m having trouble because it’s just not that interesting. The plot is worse than Ninja Gaiden’s, and that game had a terrible plot.

Any tricks like the spiral glitch in DMC4?

Ronin when you play as Dante you can do Real Impact and DT when the move hits then toggle the DT button for each following hit for retardedly HUGE damage.

Thanks Lokken!

And one more “sorry for asking it again question”: does anyone have a list or hints as to where some of the LP pieces are? I seem to be missing a few.

HyperSakura’s Youtube Channel has Playlists for each findable item in the game including the LPs.

But if you’re looking for just a hint and want to find them yourself I’ll tell you this. All the pieces to a particular LP are in one chapter. So if you find a piece of an LP in a level then the other pieces for that LP are also in that chapter.

Oh so they aren’t spread acorss several levels. That’s good to know. Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can get the soundtrack?
