I’ve seen mostly praise…but some are “canceling” CW for blackifying a beloved character.

One was complaining about how Batwoman is not supposed to have an afro.

Don’t do off world. Court of the owls is way easier and gives you a pretty already written storyline to play off of. Now you got players in the background, introduce Gotham high society who may or may not be in the owls. It gives you alot of play room imo

And it’s weird cuz Batwoman started in the Elseworlds crossover, they had PLENTY of time to figure it out. I’d argue they should’ve did this before even greenlighting the show

But CW doesn’t always make wise decisions

The sad thing here is they are going to blow their chance at creating a new Bat Character they could migrate to other media. This show doesn’t have good writers and season 2 will probably be more of the same if not worse.

This girl is not going to be the next Harley.

Yeah they couldn’t even get Kate right. Ironically they had a narrative of her being her own character when they stripped away a lot of what made Kate unique. They should have leaned into her military background more and actually had her use firearms like the real Kate Kane does.
