Plot device is that the headaches will disappear if both are far away from each other as possible.
Zoom (Earth Prime Hunter Zolomon) takes Beth to Central City or Star City.
Somehow Beth turns to the dark side because she hangs with Zoom and Alice turns to the light side. Final battle is Batwoman injuring Zoom, not killing Zoom and Zoom goes to Arkham Asylum!!!

holy crap, man…I doubt anyone was expecting this. The show has been such a glorious disaster to watch unfold. Interesting that she’s leaving even though a 2nd season was guaranteed to happen (despite the constantly falling ratings)
I’m wondering if the injury was part of this decision? Didn’t she suffer a pretty serious injury on set some months ago?
…and of course the other factor may have been the ongoing embarrassment? That show was getting ROASTED on a regular basis on various youtube channels (and oh yes that shit was gold every time

Some crappy WWE writers are writing for Batwoman. It’s like those story lines and angles in WWE that go no where fast!!!

it’s definitely not a good look for how things are run behind the scenes at that network. Remember there was the fiasco with them failing to get Michael Rosenbaum (the GOAT live-action Lex, imo…though I’ve heard that J. Cryer is apparently a good one) for the crossover… supposedly he turned it down because they had no detailed info about what he would be doing, or even how much the pay would be, all on top of having a very short amount of time to decide if he was on board with that. Assuming that’s all true, it is no surprise one would say “nah” to that.
They booted Brandon Routh off Legends and didn’t tell him why. He was quite annoyed with how they handled his exit although he was still professional about it
