BSG has plenty enough of this bullshit with Starbuck & balter, the rest of the cast need not jump onto the bandwagon of depression and self-loathing!

Midway through Season 2… great show. Cheesy as hell most of the time, but good overall story/chars.
It’s called a character story arc, where characters go through changes and grow. Remember how Tigh was a total punk in Season 1 but by halfway through Season 3 he was a total bad ass and cool. Characters don’t stop growing and changing even if you are only interested in explosions and gun battles.
There are plenty of better, more intelligent ways for characters to develop and grow, than having them all go senselessly batshit stupid at the same time. Like a shotgun blast of lousy writing & poorly executed direction.
Hopefully that episode was a 1-shot thing, and things will return to ‘normal’ after. I don’t know if i could continue to watch the rest of it, if the series continued to de-evolve further into garbage like that. Nothing really happened, everybody just whined and bitched for an hour.
Col.Tigh kinda lost my respect after that sorry ass shit with six, and i officially don’t give a damn about Balter anymore if his only purpose on-screen is to bitch & whine incessantly.
Easily the WORST episode this season, as well as the worst i’ve ever seen of BSG.
I kind of agree with True Grave in the sense that I don’t like the direction most of the characters are going and the fact that just about nothing happens every episode.

I still don’t understand why Tigh is a Cylon. To me, it only serves the purposes of being a curveball. Why would Cylons want to have a self loathing model? Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
I’m also kind of sick of the fact that every storyline and episode now is driven by religion, especially since Baltar buys into it all. Part of what made him likable in the first place was he didn’t believe in anything.
The Cylon part of thier brains is starting to surface, fucking with their thought patterns.
