when it comes to games all the grunt work is done by the GPU only with few exceptions like crysis and maybe supreme commander

For the rest 99% of games you will do good with a low tier CPU coupled with a FAST GPU

bad that it literally isn’t part of the game itself—like when you first play, you’re stuck
watching it all the way through.

No fighter planes other than the cinematic segways the A10 WartHogs make
with their strafe run during a few stages in Rush Mode.

I seriously hope you’re not referring to BF’s, and then specifically, BFBC/2’s projectile physics, where you’re not going to get a shot on ANYTHING (moving that is) because bullets do not fire at the speed of light (as they do like laser beams in all arcade-shooters i.e MW/2, ect). You have to lead your targets (at range, any kit/class)

I know that there are realistic type projectile physics in BF games but when you have a ping above 30 it just takes the fun out of it and makes it more frustrating to kill people who are more than 100m out with anything other than a sniper rifle. But if you like wasting ammo on people you would’ve killed if you had a lower ping, then more power to ya.

That said, I love BF-2’s sniping way better than COD-4 and MW-2. (I’m talking about PC not Xbox or PS3)

yeah is stupid . i would rather go to the front like and hide 1 save spot giving crates etc etc than to hide at the higher ground waiting patiently like fishing __ .
but usually , i would bait my opponent squads by firing at them and get their attention and run my ass to those friendly snipers , what’s the point trying hard to win when we are losing greatly .

real talk , sneak rushers wins everything . go watch BF:BC2 Moments number 3 in youtube . a squad of 3 engineers with RPG7+tracer and 1 medic .

Whoever says snipers are terrible hasn’t played with good snipers. On offense they are used to counter snipe and sneak in and blow up buildings. On defense they hold down small sections of the map by themselves while the others take down tanks, etc.

But when there are more than a couple snipers this doesn’t work. And most of the time they just go for kills.

When I snipe I try and help funnel the enemy into my team, not kill.

i’m talking about when my team consists of about 90% snipers and the rest of us do the work. i figure they’re new because they’ll see that it doesn’t really work in this game.
