Damn man my squad and I are serious business… gold squad pins, top of the score boards. Other team didnt get any crates… fun times. I think its the first time ive played a game where the whole team was excellent i.e. dropping ammo/health, spotting, disarming/arming, taking out uav/tanks/choppers etc.

Yeah so playing with my brother and a couple of our friends on a squad…basically stops the other team from winning.
I’m not sure, but that’s how it seems to work.
My best kill so far: Someone was rushing me in an ATV and I turned around and was able to squeeze off a M24 headshot on them which took both him and the gunner behind him out with one shot.
Yeah…like in every fps game, have regular noobs face something that only remotely resembles teamwork and they choke.
People are so shit, it’s hilarious.
TRUTH
Even the most basic concepts of gun fights and team work smashes most guys you meet online. A half-ass team has a good chance to win, a good team will win, a great team is unstoppable. I always believed a team of great lone wolves is still inferior than a cohesive team regardless of individual skill.
Pretty much… arnt they teaching n00bs teamwork these days? lone wolves = fail. On another note its amazing how many teams do not know about the atv/c4 trick. With my squad i spawn as recon and my other team mates spawns as assault. We laden up the atv with c4 and one of us drives it down to a crate and boom… there goes crate A. All been seeing teammates fighting for the chopper… gets on my nerves, and they only last a minute in it as well.
Quick question, how similar is this game to battlefield: 2142? That was the last pc shooter I really liked for mp, but I’m pretty sure it is dead now.
Fairly different. The current Battlefield engine is based on the recent Bad Company 1 and 1943.
Other than PC, which of the two between xbox and ps3 should i get this game to roll with SRK.
It would certainly seem the majority will squad up on XBLive.

the demo alone is too much for me to put down, using team work, multiple ways of completing objectives, the environment that constantly changes due to battle damage, the real game is gonna be nuts with all the options that will suddenly become available to everyone. Ive been playing this at least an hour a day (except for this week because of school). Only thing i wish i could do is learn how to fly the chopper without crashing it and costing the defending team air superiority for a good while.
This is an amazing game. And I agree on the noone works together thing. Everyone thinks kills gets points. It doesn’t. If you spot and get a critical kill assist you get the same amount. If a squad member kills them you get more.
And then when you are spotting, it makes it so easy for your teammates to move up, then you actually have a chance to win. I think of it as guiding my teammates to the objective.

No kidding, that’s the only reason I prefer transport heli’s…I can fly just fine but shooting at stuff at the same time…maybe we’ll be able to practice in the SP.
Haha, yeah, so nice when it works…the other day someone in my squad was yelling at the engineer to take down the chopper, I take aim, snipe the pilot, heli goes down: “got rid of that choppa for ya :smokin:”. Definitely one of the most rewarding things you can do in this game imo…taking helis down with tanks is fun as well.

it should be still available… but the demo ends next week i think
when it comes to games all the grunt work is done by the GPU only with few exceptions like crysis and maybe supreme commander
For the rest 99% of games you will do good with a low tier CPU coupled with a FAST GPU
