ps3 peeps please add me up, don’t wanna play these squad modes with random ass kids.

in real life , you sitting down in a blackhawk and mawing down with a minigun is top tier . Not in games :frowning:

I wonder what was meant by this?

Enemy Stroganoff! Presai Granato!

those are insane

Laguna Presa Rush and Port Valdez Conquest maps are live.

Laguna Presa Rush is AMAZING.

Edit: Holy Cow i said Port Valdez, I meant Arica Harbor.

Yea I liked laguna presa the couple times I played it. It looks and feels like a totally new map. Also this prob my favorite montage right now…

That was actually really cool.

I liked the scene at 2:35.

I had never gotten the Naval Warfare pin before Laguna Presa Rush. Now I don’t even have to try and I can get it.

Just got this game for Ps3, it’s awesome. It’s different from MW2, I like the teamwork aspect. Anyway, any tips on flying? I was flying the big ass chopper today, I was just circling around the base letting the gunners do the work, but we only got a few kills. Haven’t flown a helicopter yet…

Also, what’s up with sniping? For longer shots, I need to aim higher?

EVERY projectile in the game (tank shells, rockets, bullets, whatever the fuck) is affected by both travel time and gravity. Just like real life. For shots that are obviously easily within a gun’s range you don’t need to lead or drop too much, but for vulcan machine guns on helicopters, sniper rifles, long-range tank shots, you need to predict for both the fraction of a second the projectile will take and the amount of effect gravity will have upon it.

Ultimately, it comes down to feel. If you’re firing at a downward angle drop will affect you less, if you’re aiming dead on it will affect you more. Try it out and be willing to die a few times figuring it out.

I am also in love with the laguna presa rush map. It is so awesome.

I cosign that Laguna Presa Rush is intense, maybe the best Rush map.

Laguna Presa Rush = A heaven for people who want to rank up with Medic…or get double/triple kills with the Carl G.

The new rush map is really good, so many options when attacking. I love it!

I had a feeling (from what I saw of the preview video) and it looks as though I was right, because I just got done playing the new maps. Frikkin CQ/Arica is infantry only. How fucking lame. I’m finally losing interest in this game because of retarded shit like this.

I mean, Arica is a HUGE map! WTF DICE!?

You got a mic? If you got a mic and like to communicate/win, send a FR to GibbShift.

Yeah, Arica Conquest could have been much better. It’s way too tight (even compared to other tight Conquest maps) and there was a lot of land to use for the mode. And I personally think it’s a bit broken with one team basically given the flags while the other team has to foot it for a minute.

I haven’t played the Arica Harbor CQ map yet, but is it worse than the Squad DM version of it?

They really should’ve made use of most of the map, it really has potential to be as good as Strike at Karkand on PC BF 2. I love the Rush version of it, it was easily my most favorite Rush map, but now Laguna Presa took over that sweet spot.

Thing I don’t like about BC 2 maps are that they feel really really small and concentrated vs older BF maps. I’m thinking they are like this because they needed to keep the maps smaller due to the level of detail and amount of destroyable objects and buildings taking up resources.
