Hey Koryn, I come in this thread and still can’t read your shit. It’s got to change. I come in here for information, and with my default skin settings it doesn’t look like you’re typing anything. If youre not going to contribute in this thread with posts readable by all members regardless of default skins we choose then please quit trolling already. Just some thoughts on the assault:
I think that this class is one of the more “micro” manage classes than the rest. It can be a lot of fun if you play right. Using smoke/grenade launcher is pure fun.
That’s all for now. THe adv. of assault aren’t as readily noticed as the other classes if you ask me.
Thing is, it takes a good 35-45 seconds for the GL ammo to be replenished via the ammo box, which is perfectly fine.

Does anyone know if the game doesn’t like multiple PCs from the same local network connecting to it? My room mates and I have working head sets, BFBC2, and Ventrilo, yet we never seem to be able to connect to the same servers. When all three of us try to connect, we never seem to be successful.
We have the top-of-the-line broadband package from Time Warner, so I’m slightly confused right now.
yes iren, bc2 has conflicting port resolution when it comes to multiple people trying to play on one network.

Very frustrating game tbh, who needs it (for 25 quid a month). Why they would let you unlock everything by rank ~25 with a rank 50 cap is a mystery to me as well.

I couldn’t agree with you more, i ran into a team which was 75% recon and got pushed back so far in their base, they had to resort to parachuting down…and getting shot down then too.
Luckily i was on defense side lol, but i’ve ran into so many games where teammates just don’t know wtf they’re doing. MW2 strikes again!
I wish I had FRAPS running for this game I just got done playing. We were a team of 15 and there was an assault and a medic. The rest was Recon (including me). The difference is I’m playing Recon with the shotty right now and using the motion sensors to flush out buildings. I’m not hanging back and sniping, I’m in their base all the time racking up huge kill-streaks right now. Everyone else was sitting back and just shooting people whenever they could get the chance. Every time a tank, helicopter, or just a squad of medics/assaults would show up my entire team would shit a brick.
Someone else actually pointed out that the only people that were ever in his base trying to kill the M-COM station was me and two other guys. They felt bad for us.
I think i’m going to have to switch over to the PC version. I hate how there aren’t enough people playing on the consoles it seems…

Update: Just did it and the M1 is pretty decent.
Me and my friend run a bomb busting setup. I roll as Recon with C4 and VSS rifle, He rolls with Engineer and anti-tank mines with the AK-74u.
We sneak our way into the m-com stations and lay all the C4 and Mines we can carry on to each m-com, find some safe corner/shelter and then blow it. I used to run as an assault class but I don’t like the loud guns and the loss of a motion sensor. + I find it faster to suicide then to sit on top of an ammo box waiting to reload all 6-7 C4’s
