Anybody unlocked the “Improved Compounds” or whatever it’s called? Just curious to know if the splash radius is larger with that and the Carl G.
Increases the damage, which effectively increases the splash to an extent, but the radius is not increased afaik.
While the radius doesn’t seem to be larger, this combination owns. I was hesitant to leave the RPG-7 AT, I have to say the M2 Carl is the superior weapon. It does an insane amount of damage vs. armor and can take out tons of infantry with that spec. Try it out when you get it.
This also works very well and I use it. M2 Carl Gustav rockets + Additional rocket ammo + Increased Explosive damage = A lot of dead infantry
It’s become a pet-peeve of mine to get killed by the Carl Gustav, while I’m in a tank, when I know they’re poor against armor. Sheesh. Getting hit on all side from whatever, then I see what killed me…CG. FUCK THAT. 
BTW, I easily can see AT Mines, any map. You people need to put them down where they’re not blatantly visible. You’d probably have a better chance with C4 traps, as—even when place right in the middle of the road—many don’t see them. Use shadows, divets, ect.
Cool happenings yesterday:
Piloting AH64, gunner taking mad points, we get shot down by 3 tanks, I manage to eject with 3 health left on helo, I’m high enough in the air I think I’m gonna get shot down by the 2 other tanks that have somewhat of an angle on me—THEY IGNORE ME—while I look straight down, there’s the 3rd tank.
2 C4’s dropped. kekekekekeke!

Decided to try the 870 with Slugs and Magnum ammo a few days ago, and damn it’s insane. Outsniping a guy with a shotgun does not seem fair.
This game gets more and more fun (except for the Friends list disappearing!!!)
I’ve been going Engi lately with the Carl Gustav. It’s a beast, and not too many people use it. I didn’t even know of this Explosive Damage perk/upgrade you guys spoke of, now I’m even more excited too use it. I unlocked the guided missing after the Gustav last night and wasn’t too hot about it. I think if you die after firing it goes straight up in the air. I could be wrong though. I might not like it because I expected it to work like the HL2 guided missle, which is highly maneuverable.
My friend made a fun tactic on Valisparo (s/p.) On defense, after the first area is taken out, we’ll go up the hills and hunker down around the trees/cliffs. I’ll be medic, he’ll be assault, both with the double nade add on. I provide health, he provides ammo and we’ll nade spam down the hill, bouncing off of rocks and trees. Before long, we have a large group doing the same, providing a stronghold to block off invaders. The nades kill or injure almost all infantry, and we can even take on the Bradley armors as well. If I see a chance to pick up an Engi kit or I die, I can use the Gustav to take out snipers, since we’ll have plenty of medics around. Fun times.
Try 12 g slugs + magnum ammunition with the NS 2000 if you have it yet. You can snipe with it across the water of Isla Innocentes.

What’s “MP Rush”?
If I remember it correctly, 4v4 Rush with limited MCOMs, maybe as limited as one. Maps are smaller, no vehicles. Other than that same attack and defend as regular Rush.
Basically it’s like Team Deathmatch, with friends let alone a good squad that communicates I’ve head a lot of good things about it. Pubbing it will probably be lack luster, but then again every single mode in this game is pretty hit or miss without at least one other person to coordinate with.
Okay, so just Squad Rush, got ya.
Anyways, my brother rented a Vent server and doesn’t care if I have people on it. If you have a headset/wanna be able to hear SRKers clearly I’m more than willing to give out the info. Just shoot me a PM because I don’t want any jerk off who browses the web to get it. Also, it might be temporary, it only supports up to ten people right now and once he starts getting a few of his friends to join up he might make it pw protected. You can launch c4 pretty far. Hit shoot then hit jump. No need to run all the way up to tanks anymore!
The server is stationed in Dallas. I’m pretty sure you can run pretty well from either coast.
How long is the server down?
I really wish they would just remove the knife from the game, or at least change it to the way knifing works in CoD (the only thing that awful game ever got right). Coming up on the 4th gold star with the knife now and it still feels as shittily arbitrary and weird as it did the first time I knifed someone in the face and they didn’t die, then knifed me.
It’s fucked up beyond belief, just like melee in (almost) all other games. Fucking dicerolls.

A tip that I’ve heard from others about knifing, is to start about 10 ft away (as you’re dashing up to them, the distance isn’t exactly 10 ft, but it’s just an estimate, you kind of have to get a feel for it).
Also noticed that since you can’t sprint (or even a slight lunge) while going for a knife, people can backpeddle away. This frustrated me to no end with a sniper that I was going to sneak up on, I opened up on his bush only knowing the general area he’s in, so I scored a few hits but no kill with the first SMG you get, he whips around, steps out of the bush and empties his pistol clip, while he’s reloading I think “HAHA, U SHANKED NOW BOI”, didn’t work too well as I whiffed 2 knifes while he backpeddle reloaded then proceeded to cap my ass since I never reloaded due to attempting to knife. (Before anyone asks about why I didn’t whip out my pistol, I had a tracer gun. Though I could have rocketed him…)
