I find two funny about the continuation about this thread?
#1. The Giants are unbanned, yet there is an argument.
#2. The comment about how I don’t play games.
Classic.
I guess we’re just releasing our frustration since this all happened off a culmination of misunderstandings and confusion.
Also Justin is saying some funny things, such as advising me to change characters to fight a runaway Storm when Keits has been saying the same thing to fight the Giants; just swap some characters, win, and move on. Whether or not it is boring doesn’t matter really, because that’s subjective and etc.

Giant’s are a double edged sword. They either do good against some teams, or they do horrible against other teams. This game isn’t only about combos. It’s also about spacing, and set ups. I’m one of those kind of players who like to have a character with different traits so that it forces my opponent to re think their strategy. Since they are so used to practicing combos, they don’t pay enough attention as much to the other important factors of gameplay.
It also is foolish to ban something in the game so early. Give it some time, if a lot of Giant players place high consistently in a lot of tournaments, then you can talk about possibly banning the Giants. At this point and time it makes no sense to ban the giants. Let’s see what the results will be like at Evo. Results > Theory.
Although I don’t want to have this discussion any further but if they make a certain character in the game, there’s has to be some way to overcome these obstacles and counter them, otherwise these characters shouldn’t be designed and placed in the game at the first place. Little guys FTW. Fuck Gundam big bots one on one bullshit.

I don’t see why a matchup should be banned because its boring, especially for us spectators. Should we ban chun 3s mirors/sagat sf4 mirrors? wait… don’t answer that.
