Granted, it’s been a long time since I looked at a Flash comic (one that wasn’t part of a massive DC crossover clusterfuck), but Wally always struck me as a grumbling kid compared to the older characters in the Flash family.

I don’t read superhero comics anymore, unless I hear that something is really, really good. It is a sad rarity.

I was pleased to see Barry pop up again in Final Crisis. That “RUN!” panel was one of the coolest moments in the whole run.

Haven’t heard anything but that doesn’t mean it’s not around.

It isn’t that great to be honest, really hit and miss. Jonah Hex, Demon Knight, Deathstroke, GL, Aquaman, Bat whatever minus woman and girl, suicide squad, animal man, are good a few others as well but out of all the series more then half are not so good. Too bad.

It’s pretty ultimate or at least what Johns billed it as “alot darker, alot scarier.” Which it is they stepped up the violence and wanton whorieness of some female characters but it’s like they handed a good portion of thier characters over to writers who don’t know anything about them and are trying faar to hard and thats a shame. Sacrificing the story and writing aspects in something primarily literary should never be done. It’s insulting. Also the new tings they did add do not outweigh said sacrafice.

Watched it last night, was very good. They need to keep making more Batman animations and just forget about the rest of DC (lol). I definitely liked the mature thematic style of the movie, that’s what Batman is about. My only minor gripe was Selena Kyle; how did she suddenly become a black chick? Not that I mind, its just really inconsistent with her past portrayals. She’s supposed to be charismatic and sneaky. Batman’s voice was as good as it could get without being done by Kevin Conroy.

That’s one thing I wish they would do: either leave off the origin or at least minimize it. Anybody who doesn’t at least know the broad strokes has been living under a rock.

I once started counting the number of editions and revisions I could think of, in all the media Superman has been in, in which the origin is told or retold. I think I got to over a dozen before I stopped counting.

Got it, watched it…better than fuckin’ Smallville by miles, and the fight scene felt like Buffy’s choreographers were behind it (for those who don’t know: that’s a GOOD thing). No idea why the WB said no. Maybe they want more teen drama, and stuff so bad it’s on par with The Nine Lives Of Chloe King action-wise. Diana was gangsta, fuck all the rules when she was trying to catch somebody. She was still Wonder Woman, but with Batman’s methods, minus his gadgets.
