That’s an interesting proposal. I think I’d be interested in seeing a Rational Cut of Man of Steel wherein they cut out the “Don’t save me Clark because Reasons” by Pa Kent and cut out a bunch of the ending CGI porn. Maybe put in some Amy Adams scenes or just … anything else.
I feel like a good editor could go in and make that movie soooooo much better. I’m glad that Snyder got his ass handed to him so that maybe now people don’t let him pull a Lucas with some of the world’s best source material.
40 minutes in. SO GOOD. It really matters, the stuff that they added in for ultimate edition, and im barely a third of the way in. Major stuff in the desert explained, and small details after that, that mattered, and is noticeably making things more coherent.
1:14 in, bruh, the conflict between superman and batman makes 1000% more sense in this cut, and im only just a little over an hour into the movie.
WOW, i liked the theatrical cut obviously, but bruh, they shouldve released this in the theater. Yeah mad people are going to buy it now that they know its good, but im not sure it was necessary to take all that flack, just to possibly boost dvd/bluray sales.
It almost feels like a different movie, from just small added clips here and there.
Finished it. Shit was mad good. Its honestly kind of a completely different movie. Many things people took issue with are resolved. Even the movie seemed visually lighter because of the added scenes. Weird. Those few extra minutes here and there makes your brain perceive things differently.
Dont be stupid. Even the first iron man was 2 hours long, and that was dealing with a single character. No comic movie has been less than 2 hours since marvel started its universe, and you want batman vs superman to be 2 hours. LMFAO

I’d be interested in feedback from somebody not invested in Snyder’s semen. At this point I feel like I’m just going to skip it entirely and see what happens with Suicide Squad. Snyder’s uber-Christification and tonelessness isn’t something I feel like I need to go through needlessly. At least with Watchmen he had a great story to work with, even if he kinda fucks it up by giving magic powers to the normal humans.
