I LOVED Watchmen and the 2004 Dawn of the dead. And i hard “300” was pretty good, although i’ve never seen it.
Maybe you’re right. The rest of that is awfully mediocre. Outside of the cool fantasy scenes, i thought Sucker Punch was especially terrible.
Edit: And i heard he used the actual comic book as the storyboards for Watchmen. So he didn’t actually have to do any thinking, just replicate the comic. I still loved Watchmen though.
Watchmen and 300 are great. The sequel for 300 is horrendous maybe even worse than Suckerpunch
