I didn’t know this, but Eisenberg was called in to be pitched as Jimmy Olsen. The point there was to have someone famous in the role so you think Jimmy would last, then BOOM. But Eisenberg came in acting like Eisenberg, and Snyder said “Wow. That dude is crazy. How about him as Lex?”
I’m not kidding.
I don’t know what to think here. I said Eisenberg isn’t to blame for this shitty Lex, and I stand by that. He was given bad material. Turns out he kind of is, since he* inspired* the bad material unknowingly and couldn’t suss out the shit smell. I don’t know. I just know I have zero interest in anything other than Suicide Squad and Batman at this point movie-wise.
Tbh Superman could’ve explained that in the first place but as soon as Batman attacked him he was like “nah, I know this human ain’t trying to square up to me right now” one inch push
Superman did indeed try talking to Batman twice. But then they faced off while Superman said:
Superman: "You don’t understand."
Batman: "I understand." face off Superman pushes Batman fight starts and Superman flies into a building with Batman in tow
Superman would’ve kept trying to explain himself. As I’ve said before, the life of an innocent(and that giant electricity EMP that probably endangered countless other lives) should be priority over a grudge match.
Really, Batman being Batman should’ve noticed what I just said also.
