I do wonder if Suicide Squad will at least have humor. Because it has Joker. And Harley.
Is it even possible to do a humor-less Joker? I shudder to think what Snyder has planned.
Rumor is that WB ordered reshoots for Suicide Squad to add more humor in the movie.
i dont believe it unless i see more posts about it this week. sounds like some weird studio april fools joke. the amount of costs for that many reshoots to add jokes is crazy.
Machinima reported it too, apparently they started reshoots a good while back. I’m not expecting much their idea of bringing more humour might be a flamboyant Will Smith with full mag of one liners.
I could see it working but the will smith casting always rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. He did it cuz he wanted to be in a comic book movie, but part of me says ‘this isn’t the one’. I dunno. I mean if we are gonna get a humorous deadshot, there is potential there from will. And the animated feature did have a couple jokes thrown in, tho Deadshot pretty much is a (wait for it) straight shooter.
But if I take your quote to heart they may just be copypasta-ing Deadpool?
Judging from the previews, there seems to be quite a bit of humor in Suicide Squad. Harley’s making jokes pretty much the entire time she’s on-screen.
Suicide Squad is the only one that looks half decent.
ive gotta agree with this because its a little bit away from the norm of the rest of DC movies. Someone chose this particular storyline for a reason, instead of just doing, I don’t know, a teen titans movie(or insert other DC book that’s been in publication for forever).
It could be the one movie that really lets DC stand out.
And Marvel hasn’t even really done a ‘bad guys up front’ movie yet(Deadpool was first, but work with me here).
I love the concept and the animated feature was great. I want to say ‘how could they mess this up’ but then we’ve got BvS…
Deadpool isnt really a “Marvel” movie either. Its a Fox movie using a Marvel property.
In the Machinima story they also said all the jokes in the movie were in the trailer 
Zack Synder explaining how a dead Robin shaped Batman in this movie
Just the fact he needed to explain something outside the movie goes to show how much the storytelling sucked.
Fuck that. I took a piss right before the movie. I had to go again when Abomination got free and I had to go again when I got home. Usually I can wait until the end of the movie but this time I almost exploded.
Holy shit. It’s still making money but god damn. Does this put any dent in their Justice League plans though?
Zootopia’s in the second spot. I should have listened to my gut telling me to watch that again instead on that day. That movie was a pleasant surprise.
