That online petition is hilarious, you can literally wait 10 seconds, hit refresh, and roughly 10 more signatures are added. Even though it’s futile at this point, I’m curious to look at it later tonight now, I’ve never seen one with that much momentum.
Imagine how much we’d have if the MAJORITY were aware of the petition, and not just a few corners of the internet and those that saw that one news show. At least in the 200,000’ish range by now and that’s being modest.
Well it’s only been 1 day, so I still find it pretty impressive. The smear campaign it’s building on FB seems to be growing too. I could care less if it actually works, I’m more intrigued to find out how far this goes seeing as most petitions don’t come close to the mark or simply fizzle out after a few days.
They’ll get rid of Ben, and get Charlie Sheen for Batman.

That online petition has got to be the one of the biggest troll uses ever. I an not happy with the decision, but this is really a waste of that technical resource. I just wonder how many other legitimate petitions were signed because of this effort.

This is not just a silly petition, its a way for others to collectively have their voice heard!! Imagine if everyone thought as you do, and didn’t bother to voice their complaints. Then nothing would get changed.

XBox One would most certainly still be trying to lord its shit over the gaming industry, Playstation 4 might’ve followed suit when they saw how sheepishly gamers gave into such policeys without a fight, etc.

I’d prefer them to go with Adam West if they want an older Batman.
Josh Brolin had auditioned for the role at the same time. I’d have given him a shot over Affleck.

It seems like such a lazy and uninspired casting choice. Like they’re operating on the old practice of casting a name-actor and thinking it’ll bring in the bucks, whether he’s right for the role or not.
AKA: How George clooney of all people got it. Ladies like him, name-actor, he’ll bring in a boatload of cash right??
Nope. The modern era operates by different rules. You can’t just shallowly chuck a recognizable face there and have it work, he has to be RIGHT for the part too. Otherwise Ryan Reynold’s Green Lantern flick would have most certainly killed at the box office sales too, and not been a shameful flop in theaters.
With Bale they got it right: A big name actor AND he could do the part well.
Denzel Washington would make an awesome Batman.
