just watched the teaser and tbh it doesn’t look bad lol. As much as I would like to hate based on the casting alone, the teaser showed a decent plot adaptation. Of course it’s just a teaser, a summer trailer could show a gay Lex Luthor asking Wayne out.
This movie looks very Lions Gate, i’m liking that a lot. Hopefully we get to see Superman level another city 
What’s with all this fucking obsession over Man of Steel’s climax? Who cares if he leveled a city? That scene was more to show two super men duking it out than anything else. “What about the civilians?!” Motherfucker, it’s a fucking movie. Suspend disbelief or suspend yourself from a support beam with a noose goddamn.
I don’t find that funny. I find it pedantic as fuck.
The issue is one of Superman’s greatest strength’s, is his willingness to take the fight somewhere safe, and to save people’s lives, even in the middle of combat. I understand Metropolis got levelled, that’s fine. It’s shit like dodging a tanker truck full of gasoline, that explodes and takes out a building. It’s attacking Zod in the middle of safe cornfields, and taking him to the middle of a city for a battle.
As much as I hated Superman Returns, at least when glass was falling and endangering civilians, he used heat vision to destroy the glass and save citizens. Look at Injustice. Batman refuses Superman’s help, until Supes starts setting up a gameplan to limit civilian injuries or danger.
It was disaster porn, when Supes isn’t about that. To me, Supes not saving people, is the same as Batman killing his enemies. It goes against their character, and it’s just sloppy writing.
I like how there are people clearly in the way of Tony vs. Hulk too. Collateral damage like a motherfucker.
