Teaser =/= Trailer. I mean, I don’t really want to defend the movie at all, I take too much joy in shitting on it but yeah it’s just a teaser. You don’t want to go the Marvel route and show TOO much off in teasers. I swear by the time AoU opens we’ll have already seen 80% of the movie.

First, a shit ton of people can be assumed to have died in the first avengers film. They did a shit job of protecting people, considering thor has no fucking magic gauge for his hammer, and could basically rain down lightning all day if he wanted to on the minions coming through the wormhole. How is hulk and thor smashing a mile long cyborg flying worm into somewhere, random downtown, any better than what happened in man of steel? Thor and Hulk were fairly limited on choices to take that big fucker down, so they just went with the most basic way, break it, and let it drop. Sorta like how superman had to just duke it out with zod and take the risk of innocents getting hurt, rather than tip toe around the fight, and zod fuck people up even more.
At least in man of steel, a shit ton of destruction was had because superman was away trying to prevent the fucking planet from getting terraformed, and by the time he came back, it was all over, he saved lois, and thats that. Everything after that was him struggling to fight against a kryptonian almost as strong as him, angry as fuck because his species is basically just him and kal, and a better fighter. We’ve argued this a million times already, but superman had basically no choice to have the fight in the city, or zod would have just started running through buildings while superman flies away to find a more friendly area to fight in.
I’m sure age of ultron will handle destruction well, because its suppose to learn from its mistakes, and others, as the original avengers had a lot of mistakes. Overall, i dont even understand why this is an obsession lately with all these pseudo journalist/bloggers. In the comics, people fucking die, innocents die, it happens. At no point is it rational to think these people, some of who could literally destroy an entire planet in a day, can rescue everyone in the midst of all that chaos.
If man of steel came out in 2006 or earlier, there wouldnt be a peep about destruction. Now all these pussies have a voice via social media sites, and are backed by other pussies, who are also very stupid, and we’re having discussions about fictional destruction over a fight between two beings who could wipe out america in 12 hours if they wanted to.

When they showed blue eyes armored Batman it made me think less of TDK and more of Lego Bats.
