You know, Superman listening to Lex would have made sense if anything Smallville involving thier friendship (sans the falling out) had been incorporated into Man of Steel.
Wasted oppurtunity now that I think about it.
As it is, the whole thing sounds incredibly stupid.

This movie is shaping up to be as excellent as thought it would be. Which is to say…not particularly good.
Supes saw the tumbler n though Batman was black. Am guessin Lois gets wet around Bruce, Lex figures out everyones ID and escalates the tang fued to fisticuffs. Who actually cares?
This will be the DmC of Super-hero movies.
If this movie makes it to DmC levels it overachieved.
I hope this movie success so people can jump off the marvel hype train.
Marvel has developed too much goodwill for one DC movie to derail them.

Well…I will say that legitimately ANYTHING is possible.
But even if the movie does succeed it’s still going to get smashed by Civil War in the Box Office. And that alone will be a failure.
Again box office means jack shit, kids went running off to Transformers ffs. Superman Returns made something like 600m+ and not even uwe boll would wipe his ass with that piece of shit.

This will succeed…in making me lose all faith in DC movies. No amount of one liners and cameos and run of the mill average fight scenes will save this abomination.
It will succeed. No matter how much the movie will suck it’s still a movie with Batman and Superman. The best we can hope for is for the film to not live up to studio expectations like Superman Returns and Green Lantern.

And that’s exactly my point. The fact is by name value alone a movie called Batman vs Superman should torch ANYTHING in the box office short of the Avengers itself. And now it won’t because they’ve ruined any and all goodwill they had. Even if by some miracle the movie turned out good it will make a lot less money than it should’ve.
Hey Avatar sucked imo but still got a fucking 2 billion which to this day I never understand. Will be the same case with this movie but no 3 billion though.
