BARUTO THREAD 1.0: The next generation

I am more impressed at his ability to combine it all together. He mixed nature release into his own physical abilities plus his weapons. That is some Raikage shit to some degree. He is gonna be broken if thay gets a new level to stand he can maintain it for longer than an attack

I recall in one of the previous episodes, Shino and a couple of the other teachers were talking about the new generation “exceeding their expectations”. It looks like they’re really sticking too that, and actually showing it by example.

The Boruto Stream was lit

Boruto is gonna be OP just off heritage. They showed in filler you can lock someone chakra points away (without being a hyuuga) in that shira/lee battle so imagine him doing that shit as a hyuuga. Plus chakra reserves. Plus 3 natures. Plus the eye. Plus shadow clones. Plus the potential to learn sealing moves. Plus having Sasuke as a teacher. Plus Naruto being the hokage. Plus being a genius so it is likely he could figure out a way to do alk the Hutus tech without Byakugan. Plus that summoning. I mean he in my eyes is ahead of Naruto by the time Naruto was in Shippuuden. If Bortuo had been a character in the original Naruto he would be Kakashi tier.

Probably not just him. I expect a lot of the new generation to bust out OP shit. Imagine Sakura’s chakra control and chakra release when coupled with the Sharingan.

I’m curious if Shikidai will use a fan since Temari has one? It makes sense and would be a pretty interesting twist. Sarada is already stealing jutsu with the sharing an. Mitsuki was trained by orochimaru. Chojo daughter will be using electric tech possibly.

Well it’s like the real world in a sense, all the cultures/races have melded and interacted with one another, so they’re learning and gaining knowledge of a lot of things that weren’t possible in the past due to war-time interests and border restrictions. These kids have parents who belong to different clans and villages to learn from, so they have a much better starting point for their generation than others that came before them.

What i want to see is if Shikadai could potentially get some of the Kazekage tech, like the golden sand or the magnetic sand.

Looks like we’re getting some Sharingan action next week.

EDIT:
The more I think about it, the more it seems that this arc is thematically meant to show how the new generation can surpass the old. I mean, what was one of the first big arcs from the original - Team 7 going up against Mist shinobi (or ex-Mist shinobi) with Zabuza and Haku.

Ao is back in the story. He did seem very out of character. I wonder if there was a falling out between him, Mei, and Chojuro. Had to be for him not to have been in the Mist Village since the war.

Wasn’t Ao killed by the bijuu bomb of the 10 tails?

He mentions that and says he’s the only one to have survived it, but it cost him a forearm and half a leg.

I do not remember seeing this anywhere in the manga or anime.

Literally in the brand-new, just released two days ago issue of Boruto.

Did you even bother looking?

I didn’t know there was an issue released. I honestly don’t check unless someone in here post it.

And I was referring to shippuuden

There was no reason for them to really investigate in Shippuden. He was a bit character and belonged to a village not the focus of the story.

So I’m catching up to the last 5 chapters and holy shit…boruto is fire. I was really skeptical about it when first announced but the movie was great and the manga is VERY well written and drawn. I wonder if this is something I’ll be able to follow with as much zeal as I did shipuuden.

Out of all these sequel series’ we’ve been getting as of late, Boruto is probably the one I’ve been enjoying the most. DB Super is fun, but it has its issues, Kenshin’s Hokkaido Arc just started with 1 issue so I can’t really judge it yet. But so far, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve seen from Boruto.

Who knew that taking more time to put out issues can lead to better-quality storytelling.

Wait there is a new Kenshin?!?!?!?! (I must do research)
