the funny thing i did on training mode just for fun is I landed a personal record of 65 hits using a series of C LP > CLK > EX rush upper (rinse and repeat) and the opponent is still not dead lol (hes still had nearly half his lifebar). This happens if you successfully link all the EX rush upper’s… Pretty funny :bgrin:
its kind of wierd that Guile can’t do a J HK > C LP x2 > flash kick but boxer can do a J*** HK > C LP x2 > headbutt ***very easily. not sure why. Guile needs 3 x C LP’s to link the flash kick.
Either empty jump, or jump roundhouse, C. jab x2, C. Short, C. Strong, Light dash punch
it puts a lot of pressure on ur opponent, usually rog will do 2 jabs, a short, and if blocked, will stop, but this combo if linked will surprise them, trust me…
Typically Fierce for the headbutt. Instead of mashing all four moves out at the same time like “dum, dum, dum, dum”, you need to cancel the short rapidly into the HB like “dum, dum, da-dum”.
Practice this in training for a while slowing down and speeding up the combo until you find the sweet spot. In fact, this BnB is well known for how slow you can actually input it and still get it to fire off…the key is nailing the timing on the c.short xx HB. Good luck!
I was wondering if anyone knows how to connect the TAP into the Super or Ultra? Also I’ve seen Rog players do TAP and the after the its blocked the EX out of it and the grab… I’ve seen these both done on Video but can’t get it to connect at home…
Second question for everyone… Does anyone have a good EX cancel combo besides using the EX rush uppercut…
any good EX combos? For rog? thats like asking a 5 star restaurant if they have good food.
i mean like, its so simple, ex dash upper, from there, C.jab x2 or C.jab C. short and do another ex dash upper, or even an overhead. so many options
BTW, yes you can TAP-> Ultra, IF the TAP connects when your opponent was barely off the ground (which will send them in the air, just as if you hit a someone jumping with an ex dash upper)
Im trying to use the EX cancel into a combo but everytime I try to do it… It doesn’t come out… Any ideas on what I could be doing wroing or is there a certian timming?

i have a fun reset combo that dizzies and cam kill the opponent that people may or may not already use.
j.roundhouse cr.jab cr.jab cr.strong ex dash upper cr.jab cr.strong ex dash upper cr.jab cr.strong then reset with dash overhead (seems to get people all the time) cr.short feirce headbut. by this time they are dizzied and u can kill them with with j.roundhouse st.roundhouse st.jab ex rush upper cr.jab cr.strong feirce headbut.
if i dont have meter i just j.roundhouse cr.jab cr.jab cr.strong fierce headbur.
now for me, i can get the link into cr.strong pretty well. i have issues with ex rush cr.jab tho. so normally i would do that first combo into reset with only one ex upper, and between rhe reset and me antiairing with cr.fierce and zoneing with roundhouse and cr.roundhouse they still get dizzied and die.
I’ve see videos on that combo all over the net… Its a wild looking combo… I just can’t get the from the cr. Jab – cr. strong to hit everytime… I guess Im having problems with the timming…
Is anyone having problems with Guile turtling… How do you guys get to him when all he does is sit there and throw slow sonic booms and then when you try and go threw them he does either cr. rh or flash kick
What are some good “punish” combos? For instance, after a whiffed shoryu/flash kick/etc. Right now mine is just c.MP -> dash straight. Any sure fire punish combos that aren’t too risky, IE, a huge chance of me missing it and getting punished?
