Hey guys,
Dont worry I havent forgotten about this project. I am just waiting for the frame to arrive from Doomy. I have pretty much got everything else ready and up and running. Im just going to need to tip this thing on its side and fit the frame and stand it upright again.
As soon as the frame comes through I will be finishing it up the very same day. I really need to get this out of the way.

what i am mainly interested in seeing is how you plan on mounting the tv to the cab. i have very little wood experience but i love trying new things out. built my first fight stick and it came out pretty good

Good news! The frame finally arrived from Doomy and I took the day off so I could prep it and clear coat it ready for installation.
Thanks Doomy! You dont a brilliant job on the frame, its super light but very strong. Really appreciate you helping out at such short notice and pulling this off for me. Thanks again.

Here is what I did this morning, sanded the aluminium to give a brushed effect and then used wire wool to flatten it a little. You will notice I only did the areas which will be visible. 80% of it will be hidden anyway.
Once I got looking as best as I could I clear coated the entire frame.
I wired up the speakers into the cabinet and tested the sound out a few days ago so everything is ready once the frame arrives.
These speakers were cheap but they are able to play VERY loud with a decent sound quality aswell suprisingly. The small woofer/amplifier will sit in the base cupboard. The bass sounds really good when you do a focus attack and when getting knocked down.

Thanks guys, the frames clear coat has actually cured but im going to leave it overnight just to be on the safe side.
I will be mounting it to the cab tomorrow and mounting the control panel. Im just waiting for a drilled shaft to come through for the 1P side. I accidently broke the bottom of one of themwhile tightening the balltop, OOPS.
With regards to the TE… I bought that stick when it first came out as I jumped on the TE band wagon and wanted to see what it was like. That TE has quite literally turned into a punch bag as you can see from the photo of it. You will see the electrical tape holding it all together and the end caps have been smashed off. I actually use my “personal” stick and the TE is there for my nephews to mash/smash on when they play on the ps3.

I just mounted the cabinet to the frame and it fits just like I was hoping it would.
The only thing left now is to mount the CP and thats it. Just waiting for the drilled shaft to come through and I can knock this out.
