Sorry everyone for the delay. I was waiting for the drilled shafts to turn up and they did eventually, with a nice customs charge of £20 for 2 measly pieces of metal. MOTHERF**KERS!
I actually finished wiring up the control panel and adding the balltop light up mod, I had already done the buttons before.
I have semi mounted the control panel to the cabinet but needs some fine adjustment which I will be doing tomorrow.
I want to set up (hopefully) a nice photoshoot for the cabinet to get some nice photos of it for everyone.

That sucks. I feel your pain. I’m not sure why whoever drilled the shafts didn’t have the courtesy to mark down the package a little because surely they could put any amount and not get in trouble when it’s just 2 metal sticks.
Anyway congrats on it finally being finished. I’m really happy for you and I can’t wait to see them pictures!

Who had your parcel? Parcelforce or FedEx? If the latter, though customs charges suck, you got off pretty lucky. You can leave the charge for a couple of months before they send you a letter bitchfitting about it X3

On another note, really can’t wait to see the end product of this. To think only a few months ago it started out as a few pieces of wood. How it’s grown~
I had got away with FedEx parcels many many times. Maybe the odd one (1 in 20) got picked out by customs but when it comes to Royal mail or parcel force they seem to tax everysingle one.
Parcelforce used to give you the parcel first and invoice later but then realised people didnt end up paying so now they send you a letter saying if you want your stuff pay up first.
To be honest the cabinet could have been finished a long time ago but I just had soo many things that needed attending I left it for abit.
I had a few online games yesterday to test everything using the ps3 and it just reminded me how bad the network is.

Sigh. I want to build one LOL. but this is indeed great and give me ideas and motivation to build mine. I do not have enough room for one or money so i may do something like make the bottom portion and still have it mobile.

I am in the process of taking the photos myself of the finished cab. It has been complete for some time now but couldnt find a reasonable photographer to take the snaps.
Just sorting them out and will upload them soon.
I’m sure no pictures will do your cab any justice so just get something for our curious eyes!
