Im real glad to see you have been working your ass off to make AZHP much better. i know i went to one of your tournaments like 4 years ago and it wasnt that great, but i knew you guys were trying to make a great event. Rick, our plan is to try and leave Tucson around 3-4 and pick up Aaron in Phoenix along the way. I hope to get in to LA by midnight at the latest.

I think the last AZHP event I was at was Saboten… I don’t recall. Either way, I have every intention of checking out the gaming room at PCC. If it’s improved over the last 3-4 AZHP events I’ve been to, great. If not, no biggie.
If I had anything to say to you, I most certainly would… as I’ve done in the past… every single time I’ve had a problem with you.
Despite the condition of my AIAB stick, I had nothing to say about AIAB. I joked around with Marvin and Aaron a bit, but that was in relation to Robb’s jokes. I’m not sure what Aaron, Marvin, Ernest or whoever told you, but if it was anything other than, “Robb was making lighthearted jokes about AIAB”, you were told incorrectly.
It’s clear you take other people’s words as truth instead of going to the source (last time I checked you had Robb’s number), but you and Ed are upset for no reason.
If you have some beef with Robb, I suggest you leave me out of it. I have not said anything about AIAB.
In regards to AZHP, I call things like I see them. I informed SRK about my thoughts on AZHP events. I didn’t just randomly come out and say stuff, PCC was brought up with people thinking that it was being run by DEV. If I was the person asking, I would really like someone to warn me about potential bad experiences before I spend $35-40 dollars. I wish that would’ve happened at the last two Comic Con events so I could’ve saved $70.
And if it’s so obvious that AZHP events are lacking, perhaps you should be talking to Frank about improving his events instead of bashing me for stating the truth based on my own experiences.
Instead of being the guy that hears something second hand and runs to SRK to stir things up? Sure, you sent Robb a message on Facebook, but how long did you wait for a reply before you ran to SRK?
If you think I’m a douchebag, perhaps you should ignore my posts? You notice how T-dot make a cordial post simply asking me to come to the next event to prove that AZHP has improved? Maybe you should follow that lead? You also notice how Ed clearly stated that saying AZHP events are lackluster is “pointing out the obvious”? Guess I’m not the only one with that opinion. If you want me to tell you, in person, what I think of your events, I’ll be happy to do so this weekend. I have no intentions of hugging it out with you because I have not said anything false. I also had nothing personally against you until this post. Anything negative was aimed toward AZHP events, not any one person.
Every single AZHP event I have been to has been lackluster at best. I have avoided AZHP events over the last year or so, but I was told by multiple people that the high school event you guys ran last month was terrible. Despite all of this, I will still be at your event this weekend. If the event is great then I won’t have anything negative to say. I guess you should let the event do the talking…
Now let me clarify something for you. I stated things based on my opinion of every single AZHP event I’ve been to. And I only stated my opinion when PCC was brought up. If you have some issues with my work, feel free to express your opinion when I see you and we can discuss it, otherwise you are of little importance to me. I had a problem with you just coming out and ripping AZHP when all they have done from the beginning is try to get better. That was it, nothing else I posted was directed at you. Believe it or not, people do work hard at what they do, and do take pride in what they do. I feel bad when someone isn’t happy with a product I personally make.
Funny how we think Robb is mad at us over nothing, not the other way around. Considering I have a laundry list of things to be pissed about. Maybe that’s the problem. Robb’s jokes are not funny when new comers to the scene hear them and think they are not jokes or don’t know any better.
Pointing out the obvious was talking about Phx not liking AiAB sticks, had nothing to do with AZHP. Somehow I think you managed to jumble up the entire flow of conversation that went on. I would never tell anyone their event was not good when I know they worked hard on it and people had fun.

I am pissed because I had not 1, but 2 potential customers ask me why people at the MVC3 tournament hated my arcade sticks so much. I couldn’t figure out who would say that until I heard what was said. You can understand how someone would be pissed about that, right?
Let me stress, I was talking about Phx not like AIAB sticks as the obvious, nothing about AZHP.
Nice to see the cabinet is going to get some action Frank. I’ve never been to a AZHP event but I can personally attest that Frank is trying hard and sinking some good cash into the venture to keep shit growing and fresh. The rest is just drama and this community is small but that doesn’t mean we aren’t diverse I’m opinions. There is always going to be people butting heads no matter what.
Somebody please PM me Robb’s email address so we can get this shit worked out, or at least heading in the right direction. I’m tired of it, and it’s retarded. This might not be what some people want to hear, but this splitting in two halves is pretty dumb. Some people don’t like other people, I get it. It’s gonna happen and can’t be avoided.
