On Saturday, Robb was laughing and joking with the guys from AIAB. If they had issue with it, they certainly didn’t say anything at the event. In fact, they were laughing right alongside Robb, so it’s difficult to believe they considered it anything other than a joke. I had nothing to say about AIAB, but I guess someone said otherwise? I’d love to know what I said.
Trust me Abe. I’m not afraid to say anything to your face. Although I think it’d be kind of childish for you to “knock me the fuck out” because I didn’t show up for a Puzzle Fighter tournament.
To avoid confusion, perhaps next time you can just leave me out of your rants?
If you give Robb more than a day to respond, you’ll hear from him. You’re the one who was so impatient you thought it would be good to bring it up on SRK. He has more important things on his plate right now than responding to your issues concerning some second hand information. I’ll make sure he gets back to you, but I doubt it’ll happen before Monday.

The puzzle fighter thing had nothing to do with this particular argument, but ok. I had no problem with you until you opened up your ignorant mouth talking shit about AZHP. That, coupled with the shit i heard about Robb baggin on AiaB (you’re directly connected to Robb through Dev) and the fact that ive been biting my tongue (Ed asked me to) about the shit that happened last year between Dev and AiaB. I just couldnt sit by and watch some elitist prick badmouth a good community builder like AZHP. To clarify, i said tell your midget friend (thats Robb in case you didnt get that) to shut up. My comments were directed towards him in regards to the AiaB thing and towards you in regards to the AZHP thing.
And those guys were “laughing alongside” Robb cuz they’re not the type to say shit or start shit. They were trying to be respectful of the Dev event.
And childish or not, it would still happen.

Plenty of people bash on my work, as well as DEVASTATION. There’s only so much I can say about my work (and I have no need to defend it against people like Frank Castle), but when it comes to DEV, no matter what people have to say, positive or negative, instead of countering with a personal attack on them (like what Frank did), I talk to them about the issues and try to resolve it as quickly as possible.
It’s impossible to make everyone happy. If you’re running public events, you have to be able to take some criticism. I don’t feel bad about stating my opinion about AZHP events, and I know many others share that same opinion. Frank should be more concerned with improving his events instead of making personal attacks.

Please make sure Robb does get back to me. I think a year of pent up anger about the whole thing just kind of exploded after what I heard this weekend. Why wouldn’t I take what people told me at face value? Marvin was dead serious when he told me Robb was not going to allow AIAB sticks in the tournament, so I believed him. Was he wrong?

That’s the issue? Robb was 100% joking about the AIAB sticks. If he really didn’t want anyone using AIAB sticks, you can be sure the rule would have been enforced. It’s not like Marvin pleaded with Robb to change his mind and Robb finally caved.
First we joked with Marvin because he was late, then we joked about not letting him enter in addition to having an AIAB stick (this was after Aaron and Ernest had already entered with AIAB sticks). I’m unsure why Marvin took everything as a joke except banning AIAB sticks.
Did Marvin happen to mention how we joked with him about beating a little kid? Maybe he’s under the impression we think he’s all about the child abuse as well. >_>
Either way, Robb will get back to you. But as I said, I wouldn’t expect a reply until at least Monday.
